Blue Bay Style

Here now, after reading some of the reviews we were a little concerned. This was a last minute booking and so far happy with the hotel and staff. Yes the pool is a little small but great atmosphere around it and people are friendly Food has been good so no complaints To me it’s all about value for money,if you wanting branded drinks,more options of food you would need to pay a lot more.

Me and my boyfriend came here with limited expectations as there was hardly any reviews just hoped the hotel was real. When we arrived check in was easy, we also had someone carry our bags to the room which was great. Breakfast was awful. Beans were rock solid and crunchy, sausages tasted of rubber and there wasn’t much of a choice, so all week we either skipped breakfast or went out for breakfast. Lunch and dinner was okay. We only really liked the pizzas so we basically lived off it for the week. The snack bar was amazing. Wish they offered the stuff there for lunch. Ice creams were okay they didn’t have strawberry flavour which was gutting but otherwise okay. Alcohol was an absolute joke. All were undrinkable other than the beer. The wines were also gross. Stuck to Fanta and coke or went out to other places for a proper drink. They have a Greek restaurant down the road which was unreal. They have set meal deals for all people staying at blue bay so I highly recommend! The room itself was fine for me and my boyfriend although there was no where to put our suitcases which then limited floor space. We were given a double bed with pool view balcony which was great. The bathroom hadn’t been done up which was fine apart from it was dim and dark in there. Shower did get clogged a few times which took ages to drain water but other than that no complaints. Air con was a live saver. Stayed on without the card in the card holder bit so when coming in, it was always nice and cold. The pool was fine very cramped as it’s so little but also quite shallow, so if you like not having to properly swim you’re in for a treat. The entertainment during the day was alright and sometimes quite random. We had squid game troops around the pool. The man that conducted the entertainment was lovely! He was really fun. The night time entertainment was all very samey they had different kinds of dances but they all did the same thing. One of the nights there was no entertainment at all so we ended up going to a karaoke bar. People come around the pool from the blue bay platinum spa offering their prices. We went for the Turkish bath and massage which cost us £60 each from £75. But then when talking to others about it they payed less than us for the same treatments. Also, they will come round every day and keep offering you even if you’ve said you’ve already done it. To try and make us come back they said £40!!!! Wish we could’ve had that price in the first place. Would recommend the spa though very relaxing. Don’t get the hard massage unless you can handle it, you get walked on and everything! lol In regards of using the platinum facilities you were not allowed. Only to use their spa and that’s it which I think is fair even though their hotel is gorgeous and have huge pools. I’ve seen reviews saying the people staying there were allowed to use blue bay style but I hadn’t seen or heard that. The beach is fine we went at around 11 ish and getting 2 loungers was

The TUI information on the hotel is misleading. The hotel environment is small and cramped. The hotel is supposed to have had a refurbishment, but it’s in a poor state. The rooms are small, grubby, paint is peeling, door trims are coming away, the aircon is hard to manage where the rooms are either too hot or too cold. There are not enough sun beds either on site or at the beach, and this was when the hotel was only part full. There’s not enough seating, especially in the shade. There are tables and chairs at the front of the hotel, around the pool or down a dreary passageway. I feel aggrieved that a big deal was made of there being a sister hotel next door (it’s on the back) and yet we couldn’t use their facilities, though I saw their guests using ours. The staff were great in difficult circumstances. The food was good if you like fish, vegetables, salad, fruit, though it was repetitive and the same every day. If you like meat or carb-rich food, you’ll be disappointed. The rooms are dirty, grubby, cramped, old and tired. The bed was made daily, the towels were changed daily, but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, nor were any surfaces. The floor was swept but not washed. We booked a double room with balcony yet were given a tired old room with twin beds, aircon that didn’t work and a balcony leading out to the sister hotel’s table tennis area! We were moved but the new room was not great, except for the balcony being more private and the bed being a double. The walls were dirty, my feet were filthy after a shower just walking across the room. The shower didn’t drain away, it was clogged with the previous occupant’s hair. My husband cleared some of it but we couldn’t use the shower without it leaking and overflowing. Also to get to the lifts, we needed to carry our cases up 8 stairs…! The lift was tiny, an alarm frequently sounded where it was overweight when more than 3 people used it. We could hear it from our room. The outdoor area around the pool was so cramped, there was no option except to walk on the plastic drain grills and I was terrified one would either break or that I would slip into the pool. It’s really dangerous, I’m aware of people having fallen over at the hotel. This doesn’t seem like a TUI hotel, and it definitely doesn’t seem as though it’s been refurbished, despite being advertised as such

I stayed for 10 days, and it was an amazing experience — the best service and the most wonderful staff! They make you feel like part of a family, especially Mr. Cumhur, who manages everything so well and remains incredibly friendly with all the guests. Also, a big thanks to Umut for the excellent daily activity programs. Truly grateful for this kind of outstanding service Alaa

Never a new hotel it's refurbished and not very well filled out allergy form that the restaurant staff just looked at and shrugged bar often ran out of drinks lack of entertainment day/night room v dated and dirty unable to use sister hotels.

Öncelikle girişte bizi karşılayan güleryüzlü, ilgili resepsiyon görevlisi Berran Hanıma teşekkür ediyoruz. Samimi, nezih ve temiz bir otel. Çok eğlendik diyemeyeceğim, etkinlik ve müzik anlamında eksiklikler var. Daha çok yabancı turist olduğu için Türkçe müzik neredeyse hiç yok. Broşürler yabancı dilde, Türkçe çevirileri oldukça az. Snack Bar'da Ramazan Bey'e, Pool Bar'da Ege ve Mehmet Bey'e ve Cumhur Bey'e çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Hepsi oldukça ilgili idiler. Sakin ve huzurlu bir tatil oldu bizim için 😌
