Travelodge Marlow

A good location, 7 minutes leisurely stroll from the railway station and The Marlow Donkey (Greene King pub). Friendly and attentive staff. Food standard Travelodge fare. Good base for a London visit and to explore Marlow.

Great hotel,great staff. The hotel is going through a refurbishment at the moment,and the bare,cafe is off . But to be fair there's plenty of food outlets close by. The guys doing the refurbishment are really nice and polite and helping people with there bags. Sophie the manager explained that the website for travelodge had a note on the site explaining that there is a refurbishment going on so I can't say I wasn't informed. Can't wait to go back afterwards.

Clean. Functional. Polite staff. Convenient location by train station, but basically on edge of business park/industrial estate. Shower curtain way too short, meaning that water pools on bathroom floor.

We stayed in a super-room on top floor. Room ok, family room so large (only two of us) staff very friendly, helpful and nice. Only moan is we paid for breakfast for three mornings. Saturday/Sunday food was nice but Monday let them down badly. No fruit salad, no mushrooms and dried up sausages etc. Think maybe staff shortage but hardly ate much as not very tasty. Thank goodness for the warmed crossiants- got us through to lunch time! Location not too bad, 20 mintue walk into Marlow town, ten minute to Marlow small but adequate railway station.

They charge £4 for 24 hours to park in the hotel car park even if you are a paying guest. So if you’re going to stay a few days factor in the price of the car park to your stay. We had a family room which was just about clean. We needed to move the kids beds in the room and the dust behind the bed showed it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. No soap in the soap dispensers in the bathroom which was another added nuisance.

Had three rooms for a family get together. The hotel was clean and well presented. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome!
