Tulemar Resort Quepos CR Location: 4/5 Once you enter Tulemar Resort you already feel at home. From the very friendly staff the sounds of exotic birds & lush greenery. We stayed in Bungalow 117 which is right next door to Tule Cafe & pool area. Very convenient when you want a quick dip or snack. Accommodation: 4/5 Our room was spacious, and clean. With near 180 panaromic with stunning ocean views, the beds were confortable, and our suite had modern amenities. During our 2 week stayed we were able to enjoy the private beach which is accessible by shuttle which you can call from your room. They arrive within in minutes to drive you to the beach or any of the 4 pools. You can walk to the beach but it’s a hike I don’t recommend. You can also call in food service at any of the pools or even at the beach. Service: 5/5 The staff at Tulemar is definitely their biggest asset. They are very friendly, sociable & always go above & beyond. Whether it was our concierge Laura who was just a text message away & always replied promptly. She arranged most of our excursions, dining reservations taxis. She was a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable. Also cant say enough about the shuttle drivers with whom you’ll spend quite a bit of time. Moises, Axl, Johan & Jorje definitely broadened our knowledge of the country & gave us pointers & suggestions on sites & excursions. Always with a smile or friendly conversation. Dining: 4.5/5 Tule Cafe is the only restaurant on resort grounds but a 5 minute walk outside you can have a very nice Italian meal at Victorias or at Hola India which were both excellent. Tule Cafe has a great staff and a good selection of meals you can have throughout the day. However, we enjoyed walks through the town of Quepos and dined at several other restaurants. Ronnies for example has great views & vast menu. Activities: 4/5 There is no shortage of things to do outside of the Resort. Theres the National park where you can get a guided tour of the rain forest & see many local forest inhabitants. We also did an amazing water fall excursion with Joshua Tours where we drove to several water falls & jumped off a few and the day ends with an amazing lunch overseeing the ocean at La Parcela. A 20 minute walk outside the resort will take to a zipline through the forest or you can go on an ATV ride through a palm oil forrest which also comes with lunch and a waterfall hike. Overall Experience: 4.5/5 Tulemar Resort is a perfect getaway for those looking to unwind in a beautiful, serene environment with plenty of wildlife & great ocean views. With its spacious private accommodations, and excellent service, it offers a memorable vacation experience. It’s a fantastic destination for a family with kids or a reunion even group travel. Theres plenty to experience in Costa Rica but what stuck with me the most is its beautiful native people. Everywhere we ventured we were treated with kindness, patience and warm smile & good conversation. Pur
