The manager, Zoe, was impressive from the start. She proactively contacted us before the visit in order to establish our needs, and when we arrived, she warmly assisted us to our room and gave us a very helpful briefing. Throughout our stay, she was always available, very helpful, and very customer centred. On the strength of her support alone, we would warmly recommend the Nag’s Head Inn to others.

Although I have been in the Nags Head many times before as I have family in Abercych, this was the first time staying in one of the guest rooms. After travelling from the midlands it was great to see Zoe again (my cousin, no bias lol). The staff and the locals are so warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and tidy and I slept like a log. The Sunday lunch was hearty and very tasty. Then onto the evening party with my family, such good fun to catch up and the locals made it extra special too. The Nags Head is such a credit to everyone who works there. If you’re in the area then call in.

We had such a happy evening. 13 family gathered for a pre Christmas meal. Warmly welcomed, wonderful staff and fabulous food. All served with smiles and excellent service.Thank you so much for looking after us. We wish you and all the team a Happy New Year. And we will see you soon xx

Where do I start....the Nags Head is in my top 3 places I have stayed anywhere, from the time you step in the door, you are welcomed wholeheartedly by the staff. They just can't do enough for you, even the young lad in the kitchen offered his services for a lift to the local rugby club. On our return we had a great meal, and were not disappointed, great food and atmosphere. Dewi even bought us a drink. Rooms and breakfast were sublime, would have loved to stay longer. The Nags and it's staff are a credit to the area, and we will definitely return next year. (Thanks for the warm welcome at Newcastle Emlyn RFC too). Ian & Zena

Welcoming staff, clean premises and a good choice for Sunday lunch. We were a group of 7, all adults. Between us we had for starters - bacon mac n cheese bites, pulled bbq beef nachos, olives and calamari. Mains was roast lamb, beef and chicken and for dessert we had Baileys creme brule, maltesers sundae, raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake and a lemon meringue tart. Everything was fab, really good pub food. We would all happily visit again and hope to do so soon.

Excellent service and food. Enjoyable Saturday night 8 adults and a baby . Loved the ambience and staff were so friendly and polite . Starters were tasty especially the Caws Cenarth(cheese). Katsu chicken curry was spot on and steaks were cooked perfectly. Portions are large and value for money . One of the best pubs and food for miles around . Highly recommend that you visit.

Beautiful Inn set beside a flowing river, selling real ale and top quality food… The room was perfect for a short break, clean, functional, and had everything we needed. Location was ideal for travelling to other areas in Pembrokeshire and only 15mins into Cardigan. The Owner Dewi, front of house Zoe and her welcoming team made the stay perfect. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the staff not very welcoming considering we spent nearly £200 and felt they just wanted to get rid of us made us feel uncomfortable instead of saying they needed the table a certain time for other people X2 members of the staff at the bar just kept staring at us. Food was lovely though so I praise the chef. My dessert the lemon meringue tart was delicious. Need to sort the staff and improve customer service.

A great discovery in a secluded riverside location at Abercych. Friendly team led by Zoe who was great and spotless bedrooms with a really delicious breakfast with fabulous local bacon and sausages. Plenty of choice at dinner and food well cooked and great value for money too. The bar had lots of beers including plenty of options for non drinkers. Its a brilliant base to explore Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire - so many beautiful places inland and on the coast too. Highly recommended !
