Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Mankato Hotel and Conference Center, MN

The accommodations were wonderful in every way. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, cookies and the pool. The staff were super friendly and caring of our comfort. The location was easy to find and in close proximity to restaurants and fun activities. We will definitely stay at Country Suites again.

The layout of the room and hotel was ok, but facility is tired and needs an update badly. the funiture in our room was worn so bad that the inner foam was showing, the carpet was very old and worn. The drawers on the dressers kept opening by themselves due to either worn legs or out of level floor. The circulating fan was noisy due to bad bearings. The lighting in the dining area was so poor that you could hardly see what food was available. the quality of the food was slightly better than poor. In all, the room was as clean as can be expected with such old worn out the carpet and furniture was.

Standard room. Every so often I hit a room where I am stuffy/congested - usually air system or pillows. This is one of those places. Breakfast definitely in the upper tier of this grade of hotel, go for the low hanging fruit - waffle, cereal you'll get something to go on. No restaurant open anymore attached - so know you'll be driving in the Winter to get food, Many dining options reasonable distance. I skipped the brkfst the second day and bought breakfast - couldn't do it a second day. Staff is great and all were friendly. All in all your average motel for the road warrior.

For nearly $700 on a 2 night stay, we dreaded having to go to bed in our room. Upon arrival, the room came with a foul chemical-like odor, hair on the sheets and in the bathroom, and grotesque stains all over the carpet. I was hoping that paying over $300 a night would guarantee me a room that is welcoming and clean, but that was not the case here. Breakfast was satisfactory, amenities seemed well kept, but good lord, the room is up there for the worst I have ever stayed in. I hope most people who stay there do not have to deal with the same room conditions.

They allow other guests to smoke so the smell of cigarettes fills the rooms! Gross! Who can sleep in this stench! Not happy!

Beds are pretty terrible. Felt and heard the worn out springs every time you moved. Services was good. Free breakfast was good. The usual items: eggs and bacon, waffles, pastries. Pool and hot tub were great. We wouldn’t stay here again unless they renovate and replace the mattresses.

Clean and spacious room, comfy beds, generous breakfast, quiet atmosphere. The pool was small and nicely kept up (though we didn’t use it). Pretty pricey but we expected that on graduation weekend. If the restaurant next door was still in business it would have been perfect.

I attend a medical conference over the weekend. Hotel is older and the first room I was put in was not cleaned very well. However the 2nd room was clean and comfortable. People who worked there were very nice and fresh baked cookies each day were wonderful. .

Everything was great, clean comfortable room. Nice, quiet location, close to shopping. We went downtown and had pizza at Pagliai's Pizza, and we think it was the best pizza we ever had. Next time we're in the area we will definitely stay there again.
