Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Lancaster

We encountered bed bugs during our stay, but the night manager and security were incredibly accommodating and understanding. They allowed us to leave, assured us of a refund, and promised a manager would call for an investigation the following day. Unfortunately, that call never came. When I followed up the next day to confirm our refund, the daytime manager was rude and condescending, which was very disappointing. I still haven't heard from a manager regarding the promised investigation. I had initially planned not to leave a review, but felt compelled to share my experience due to the dismissive attitude of the daytime manager. We were attending a nearby wrestling tournament and noticed multiple rooms with visible bugs, and several kids had bites. We have videos and pictures as evidence of the situation. It's important for others to be aware.

Definitely a Marriott hotel! This hotel was fresh, clean, and the service was excellent from front desk check in to an accommodating housekeeping staff. Our room was very clean and our beds (a little on the firm side just like we like) were a wonderful welcome. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a 5 night stay. Staff was wonderful and we had a great handicap room with walk in shower. Included continental breakfast was very good with a varied menu. Well located for touring with a number of restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for a memorable stay.

In the past 3 weeks I have stayed at several Fairfield Inns, and they were somewhat different. I would think this is due to ownership or management. In this particular Inn they had ice water near the desk, at the others during the evening, several different types of cookies, which was a nice touch. This Inn was just as clean as the others, actually the bedding was a tad nicer and the pillows were better. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Only complaint was at breakfast, at 8:30 am they were out of coffee, I mean bone dry, another guess was looking for fresh fruit and there was none to be had! No excuse for either and that separated this Fairfield from my past experiences. Hopefully management reads this and does a few minor corrections!

Very nice hotel We had the handicapped room with roll-in shower and two beds. The room was clean, big and the bathroom has a lot of place to circulate. Breakfast was very good with lot of choices and lot of tables. Would definitely go back.

Had a good stay at the Fairfield Inn Lancaster. The other hotels we usually stay in were booked, and we had stayed some years back here, so booked. The hotel is very clean and well kept. We missed some of the personal touches at the Best Westerns in the area we usually stay at,cas you can feel the "corprateness" of the Fairfield....which is fine, as standards are high, but the personal touch is missing. The room was spotless, beds comfortable, and bathroom clean They still haven't returned to automatic housekeeping each day as many hotels have, so you have to request it, which we did, but upon returning, they never came so as if it was still 2020, we had to go begging for towels, and trash bins never emptied. The breakfast was average it slightly below average for complimtaey hotel breakfast. Standard liquid scrambled eggs waffle makers, and standard frozen sausage, etc. No fruit,hard boiled eggs for something and extra touches many other hotels do, ad it seemed very sparse...each morning only at 830ish, there were like to muffins on a huge empty counter. Pool was standard Fairfield small pool, but was ice cold, unheated, so basically unusable. My son went in a few minutes the first day, we did not, and the aecond day even he couldn't get in. But in any event it's a very welcomed hotel and was a very comfortable room. Had a good stay.
