Reading the reviews before hand put me off massively but we have just got back from a week stay and had a lovely time! Check in was easy and bags were taken to our room, we did not feel pressured to give tips throughout the week although we did feel pressured by the workers up-selling. Trying to get you to buy t-shirts and sand art for the children and when saying no they then proceed to ask children if they would like to do it which in turn makes you feel guilty. We had our photos done by the 2 brothers who go by tom and jerry, they were fantastic and did not pressure you to buy any photos if you did not want them and made us feel at ease. They were super friendly and would let the children pet the parrot! Staff were friendly and tried their best to help where they could. The man going around the pool bar was brilliant at clearing up any spillages of food straight away and staff were quick to clear plates. Reception are helpful, we had 2 incidents where we had birds come through into our bathroom and they quickly got them out. We also bought a plug from the hotel shop which unfortunately started to catch fire when plugged in! reception took this seriously and quickly got the plug out of the socket for us and informed the shop. Speaking of the shops, the convenient shop was very over priced and prices seemed to change daily (for us anyways). The clothes and bag shop were decently priced and both the workers were friendly and again no pressure to buy which was nice because as soon as you leave the hotel the pressure to buy from shops is extreme! The food was decent for us adults although was hard for my children but granted they are fussy eaters. We did enjoy some of the entertainment they had on in the night, the magician was brilliant and had us all laughing. Music by the pool in the day is not very age appropriate with lots of crude language. Music was very loud in the night but we managed to sleep through it eventually. we did have a mishap with kids club - My youngest son is 3 due to be 4 next week and a worker approached and asked if he would like to go to kids club. I told her he is not old enough and does not like to leave me she said this is fine he can come and stay anyways. We took him that afternoon and he loved it and wanted to go back the next day. When we took him the next day the other worker told me he was too young and that he was too clingy to the original women who asked him to come and therefore she could not give attention to all kids. this was a bit annoying as we had no intention of taking him originally (as i knew he wasn’t old enough) and the worker initiated a friendship with him at the dinner table by cuddling, kissing him and asking if he would come to kids club . Unfortunately this lead my son to be a bit upset for half the holiday as he could not go but we managed to find other things to do with him. I saw some posts about lifeguards not being very attentive but we experienced different, my son appro
