The worst hotel ever, food was the same everyday l am sure reheated, customer service wasn't helpful,the hotel has closed down no explanation was given of why it is closing just got moved into another hotel 2 days of our holiday gone to a waist even or when it reopens l wouldn't recommend going there safely hazard

Avoid at All Costs – Serious Safety Concerns We recently stayed at Moon Palace, Side, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst holiday experiences we've had. While we always try to find the positives, the issues here were too significant to overlook. Food & Drinks The food was basic, repetitive, but at least hot and fresh. However, if you’re staying for more than a few days, expect the same meals over and over. The alcoholic drinks all tasted the same, with a strong chemical aftertaste, and left everyone with horrible hangovers – a clear sign of low-quality or improperly stored alcohol. Service & Staff Most of the staff did not care about customer service. Requests were ignored, and there was little effort to make guests feel welcome. There was no atmosphere of hospitality, just a sense that the staff were going through the motions. Disaster Strikes – Hotel Closure Just two days into our holiday, we were informed that the hotel was closing due to "technical reasons." This turned out to be a blatant lie. The truth? The hotel was shut down because it failed to meet fire safety regulations. This is not just an inconvenience – it is a serious risk to life. If a fire had broken out, I have no doubt many people would have been trapped or worse. This is completely unacceptable, and it's clear the hotel's management knew about these issues but continued to operate regardless. Transfer Chaos To make matters worse, the transfer to our replacement accommodation was horribly mismanaged, causing us to lose over a day of our holiday. Instead of handling the situation professionally, we were left waiting with no clear answers. Final Verdict Moon Palace, Side, is not just a disappointing hotel – it is a dangerous one. The fact that it was forcibly shut down speaks volumes. If you value safety, proper service, and a hassle-free holiday, stay far away from this place. If you see this hotel for sale, please avoid at all costs. Don't add to the 78 people already dead from hotel fires in Turkey in 2025! 0/5 – Should not be in operation.

We booked this hotel as it looked like an amazing place to stay for a family holiday in Side. However, upon arrival we received very poor customer service. One of our rooms had squashed bugs in the shower and bathroom. When we complained about the room, they ignored us and cleaned it and said there were no bugs. We then realised that the hotel has not been built properly as half of the rooms are under construction and the rooms are extremely dangerous and open. There were no signs to say "danger" or "do not enter". Due to the cold weather, it was extremely windy and because the hotel has rooms that are not built, we could feel the wind coming through into our rooms. There were electrical wiring open and visible which is extremely dangerous. We then found out that they will be closing the hotel due to technical issues. The staff did not inform us about this and we were shocked as we have small children with us. Not only is this hotel dangerous and unsafe, the food also gave my children food poisoning. When my son vomited in the lobby, the staff were laughing and would not help. I am absolutely disgusted with this behaviour and am very disappointed that the staff have lied to us from the beginning. We were then told we would be moved to a different hotel, however they lied and said there was no availability. Me and my family were frustrated and upset as none of the staff were helpful and the management was poor. I do not recommend this hotel at all. This hotel is not safe and the staff are horrible. I am curious as to why this hotel was advertised as it is still being built. Please do not waste your time in booking this hotel. It will ruin your holiday like it ruined mine.

Booked Side Moon Palace for 5 nights. On day 3 after hearing a lot of commotion in the lobby area, we were told by other holiday makers that the hotel is being forced to close and all visitors were being moved immediately. A lot of rumors about no fire exits, electricity issues where some people experienced small electric shocks, balconys without windows, contractors not paid hence why they are being forced to close immediately etc etc (not sure what the correct reason was here as we were not told). We were not told about the move from management and were informed of this by others. However, once we approached management they confirmed the move of all holiday makers and we were given the reassurance that once we arrived at the hotel they had rebooked for us, it would be a smooth check in process and we could continue to enjoy our holiday. We are currently at the hotel that was booked for us, our holiday company being unaware of our move and sat without a room with 2 young children. We have been here for 2 hours in the lobby and will still be here for another couple of hours until our room is ready. We have been lied to by management at Side Moon Palace. There was no transparency in relaying information to guests which I find disgusting. It seems like we were 'thrown' out to a different hotel which wasn't our choice and provided with false reassurances. I don't know why this hotel booked in holiday makers if what was rumoured was correct. No regards to our time being wasted and all the inconvenience and anxiety this has caused. If what was rumoured is correct, this hotel should never have allowed holiday makers in. Absolutely disgusted in how they have treated people and literally 'thrown' people out of their hotel. I would be very cautious in booking this hotel as we have had the worse possible experience which we didn't imagine could happen with a newly built hotel and quite possible could happen to anyone !!!

The hotel is lovely , modern , clean , staff very welcoming , not much variety at dinner however there is a pool bar that serves food , slides and kids pool equipment closed but I think this is due to it being off peak , there is no lifeguard, towels are free , Turkish bath , sauna and indoor pool all free , decent variety of drinks and very good entertainment catered for all ages

very good service and amazing animation services. The room service was very good and always punctual . the bar was very friendly and quick services and the staff provided activities and games to play whenever they saw us free. over all amazing service and i recommend the traditional Turkish dance show hosted by Benjamin the manager every Wednesday.
