I am about to check out of this hotel and thought I would write a review while I had some time. It is a good hotel. I stayed in an apartment on the 6 th floor, booked through Airbnb. The people on reception are very helpful and friendly and the check in process was smooth. The hotel has a great pool area which I made full use of after day trips. It looks out onto the river, and you may be lucky and see river dolphins like I did this evening. I ate at the restaurant two nights. I had the steak Sandwich which was the best I have ever had. Tonight, I had the chicken and rice soup which was delicious. I did also have coffee and cake from the small cafe in the reception area for afternoon tea and that was nice too. You can access the river beach by going out the front and walking a few minutes down the drive and turn right and go down the steps. The beach area is nice for a paddle, and you can buy drinks from the vendors. There is some construction work going on next door, but I didn't hear any noise. I did also book a day tour with the tour agency in the lobby area and that was great. There is a little shop selling items like sunscreen in the lobby area as well. I'm not sure what the apartments would look like as some of them are rented out with Airbnb . The one I am in is basic but functional and has good air conditioning. I think this is a good area as it is not far from the airport.

I spent 21 days in an apartment of this hotel - November 2022. It is the only hotel in Ponta Negra, the recreational area of ​​Manaus, and the only hotel on the beach. On the plus side - it's height and the view from the window is beautiful - assuming you have a view of the Rio River. Very nice hotel staff (but NOT from restaurant) and that's about it. Cons: 1 - Hotel by the beach, with a gate and stairs to the beach, but without the possibility of going down to the beach - you have to go to the main gate, go around the buildings and get to the beach from the promenade. 2 - The pool is clean only in the first days after thorough cleaning, then it is neglected, the water is opaque, slightly green and icy. Like the sun and heat in Manaus, and the water icy. On weekends, you need to get a wristband at the reception, because I guess the pool is visited by people from outside the hotel? On Saturdays it is not possible to relax by the pool as there is a live band playing in the restaurant and it almost drowns out the relaxing music by the pool resulting in a cacophony. Furniture used and some broken. Available only till 10pm - in one hand nice, because quiet, in the other hand - i get used to swimming pool open till midnight. 3 - Sauna - I don't think anyone cleans it. I went in once and left right away - it smelled like urine. 4 - Maragogi Restaurant - as if it wasn't there, terrible service, bad experience (I left a separate opinion on Google). 5 - there is construction going on around the hotel. There are two different developments, which makes the rooms overlooking the district uncomfortable. 6 - the building has its heyday behind it and in my opinion the price in the *********** offers is definitely too high for the quality offered (according to prices in November 2022). Everything looks old and used. Fitness room was in maintance. There are no floor counters in the elevators and you don't know what floor you're on. 7 - one day I got caught in the rain on the beach and security told me to enter the hotel through the staff entrance - I felt very uncomfortable because of this. For a short stay of 1-2 nights it's ok, for a longer stay I don't recommend it but generally there is no other hotel

Terrible hospitality staff. Very slow. Inattentive. Stood in queues at the front desk for over 15 minutes. Had to get up and ask for menus at the restaurant and get up to pay as they would not attend our table. Very poor
