A gem on Camiguin. We stayed here with our 4 year old, 6 year old and their Grandparents and it was such a delight. The kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and chasing the chickensn and we felt like we treated like we were their most important customes. Thanks to Andrew for setting up the scuba dive in Mantigue and driving us around select spots on the island. Breakfast was included and Jerome even made yogurt for us, which was absolutely satisfying. Look no further, book now!

Esto es muy bonito, un campo de aceite verde, con una flor buena, y una gran coherencia con la playa del otro lado, el albergue es muy coordinado. La habitación del hotel es muy poca, pequeña y hermosa. El paisaje del jardín es como un edificio de pies de la calle, hay un pañuelo en el balcón, y el balcón del otro lado tiene un sofá exterior. La habitación es muy limpia, cómoda, con una bañera de agua caliente, el balcón también puede ver el panorama del mar y puede caminar a la playa del hotel. El hotel tiene un gato corto y blanco de pelo corto, muy guapo. También hay chicas y perros. El servidor es muy entusiasta, un buen servicio y ofrece bebidas de bienvenida al permanecer. El desayuno reservado a 350p por cada uno, el plato puede elegir entre cinco tipos de desayuno, la clase no es suficiente, el desayuno filipino es principalmente, puede ser enviado al balcón, necesita una bebida para el desayuno con un café rápido y un tostador gratuito en la habitación. No se ponga en contacto con el ruido, oyendo el rumbo de la boca. La red aquí es insoportable. No puedo acceder a la red en el hotel WIFI24 horas! El teléfono móvil es débil en todo el mundo, la mayoría de los tiempos no puede acceder a la red y no puede cargar los documentos. Durante la estancia, hay un importante trabajo a distancia, creo que puedo explorar con el teléfono móvil alrededor, ver dónde hay señales de red. Como resultado, descubrí accidentalmente que el mensaje global del hotel al lado era muy bueno, y terminé mi trabajo fuera del hotel al lado. Si supiera que es este estado de red cuando reservamos una habitación, no escogeré aquí. La página de introducción del hotel no es una explicación real de este estado de red.

El resort se encuentra a unos 15’ en furgo o moto del puerto y a 10’ del aeropuerto. Está bien situado, pero has de alquilar una moto para moverte por la isla. Se trata de un conjunto de bungalows rodeados de un jardín central, muy bien cuidado, con un trozo de playa de rocas donde hacer snorkel o buceo. El resort tiene un pequeño centro de buceo, un bungalow de masajes y una recepción donde ofrecen todo tipo de excursiones y también alquilan motos. Al lado está el bar-restaurante que ofrece comidas todo el día. Está todo bien cuidado y muy bien decorado. El bungalow tiene cama con mosquitera y cuarto de baño dentro. Es acogedor. El personal es muy amable y servicial, sobretodo Glenda en recepción. Gracias Glenda por tu ayuda! Lugar super recomendable!

This is our 3rd time at this resort and we returned because of positive experiences in the past. We came in the late 90s and 2012. Pros: Mango shake! Mango shake! Mango shake! Their bar makes the best in the Philippines! In front of our room, hotel has hanging racks for wet gear / clothes which was very helpful. The pool is still amazing and now has lifeguards. They have a small “beach” area now which wasn’t available in our prior visits. The resort has beautiful greenery everywhere, and tons of upgrades and expansion since our last visit. Resort is walking distance to the boats that will take you to White Island. Cons: Keep your hotel towels close to you at all times. If you happen to lose one, they charge a crazy amount. It drove my family of 7 counting towels. Bring your own, don’t use theirs. We stayed in the 6 person family room with the loft on top. The paint on the spiral 🌀 staircase would get sticky when wet. You will then track blue prints everywhere. They may have used the wrong type of paint for the metal stairs.

After checking maybe all beachfront resorts, I can say with confidence that this is the best place to stay on the island, surely for the midrange resorts! As I travel most of the time, I already know the feeling when I arrive to a place and I just feel that it’s the perfect place for me. There are several types of Nipa bungalows, differ in sizes but they are all beautiful, well attended and maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable and inviting. Every small detail in the bungalows shows the touch of love from the owners. The bungalows are apart from each other and you have your privacy in the tranquil atmosphere of the beautiful garden nestled in the beautiful nature of Camiguin. The kind, lovely and most helpful owners (Ilenia and Stefano), live here and that for sure makes the whole difference. The Italian restaurant on the premises, serves delicious Italian food and home made pastry in a quality that surely is very hard to achieve in such a remote island- but they do it in every single meal again and again. When I finish my day of traveling and feel so happy to come back to my amazing bungalow, I know that I found “my place” and that it will be hard to leave until the next time I’ll surely come back. True, it’s not a beach front resort and that’s the reason that I checked almost all beach front resorts on the island, but comparing to the beach front options that I saw, I had no doubt that Nipa style resort, is the best choice. Driving the rented motorbike, will take me anywhere and any beach or waterfall and ocean view in the island. And anyhow, the beauty of the island is superb, but the beaches are not the main reason to come to this island (not the best beaches in the Philippines), but the overall beauty, good vibe and uniqueness of this volcano island, is what makes it so special and enjoyable. As I said, for me, there is not really a doubt that it’s the best place to stay in Camiguin! Thank you Ilenia, Stefano and the team of the resort, for such a great time in your amazing place 🙏🙏

I would like to thank the owner of Txaleta Ma'am Milet and her hubby for the excellent accommodating hospitality especially the welcome drinks and towels such an exceptional service rendered just like home. The facilities in the room are eco friendly and well groomed. They offer bag, water bottles, towels That can be used for Island hopping and going to some scenic spots. Moreover, they have delicious breakfast, beverage and Full meal of your choice. I love the homely ambiance, cliff scenery overlooking seaview. At night, the surrounding was peaceful just hearing birds chirping pleasant to ears. I had 2 great night sleep with soft comfortable bed. I will definitely come back soon. Although, the hotel is on going construction but the facilities could still cater what's needed. 😍
