Blue Sky Apartments

I stayed here a week ago and I would never return, my experience was horrible the owner of the place was horrible made up lies to get money out of me and my friends and the apartment was nothing like the pictures show I would never return and I would pursued everyone else not to book here the staff were very aggressive and took advantage of us.

First of all on arrival, we were made to pay €25 “tax” which across ten boys was over €200, which seemed very unfair and unusual as he took the “tax” money in cash and refused to take the money on card which seems very unusual as you can’t declare cash. Air con didn’t work in any of the rooms, owner says it was because window open but then tired many of time with windows shut and still nothing worked. Pool is very nice and good bar with nice food alongside. If your a family planning a trip to malia I think this would be a great spot. However if your going on a boys holiday to the strip or any sort of party holiday I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere as was constantly being told off for stupidly petty things and just trying to have a good time.

What an incredible apartment set up they have here. I can’t put my finger on what it is but l will try to explain. Firstly, the apartments are clean, air conditioning is brilliant and the fridge works beautifully. I’m going to leave that now as what makes this place special is the staff. Maria, the manager of this family business is just brilliant. She will make things happen of it is within her powers. Stavas on the other hand is the most laid back barman, greeter and all round hero. He bought my twin girls tickets for them to go to the aquarium on their birthday. Isn’t that the kindest thing ever? This apartment set up only holds about 16 rooms. When we were here all the other guests were superbly friendly - you’re never alone unless you want to be. The swimming pool is under utilised but has really clean water and my four girls were able to learn how to swim without the stress of falling. The thing that really stands out in here and Crete as a whole is the lack of people scamming you, the kindness of the local population. The feeling of being safe at all time. I’m soo tired I’ll finish this later but do come here. You will love this place.

Absolutely the best price/quality solution available in Malia. Internal wide parking, a nice garden, 10mt from the most important street for nightlife, very very clean and with the omnipresent kind Nikos who gives tens of priceless advices. 5* well deserved.

Manager and hotel the best, nice and clean rooms. Very good service. Pool and free sunbeds in the outdoor area. The owner was very welcoming and helpsom thru our stay. Location of the hotel is great. We will definitely come back next year. Love you nico ＜333

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and great location. We had access to a pool and garden areas. The owner was very helpful and fixed anything we needed during our stay, so we ended up staying couple of days longer because we loved it here. Will for sure come back!
