Moonlight Hotel

Lovely small family run hotel in Stalis Crete, bed and breakfast. Clean well kept rooms, and a small but lovely breakfast. Hotel set across road from beach and on the road into village of Stalis. Hotel bar great place to meet and chat with guests and local people. Bar staff twin brothers great for service and chat, by end of night you think you known them for ever. With their local knowledge and great variety of drink nothing is a problem, with Simon & Bojan.

Quaint little hotel providing the basics. Staff are nice enough,breakfast choice limited. Location is good. The thing that lets it down is that it's VERY NOISY!!! Nighttime doors slamming,traffic. Mornings greeted with a daily cockrel at 5am. Breakfast staff start making a racket at 6am with usual catering activities. Staff shouting, banging doors etc. Did not get a good nights sleep all week!

Well what can I say. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. With cleaners coming in daily to do the beds and bins etc. air conditioning and small fridge in the room. Breakfast is very good and the connected bar run by two brothers is the best in Stalis. No pool but we had permission to use other hotel pools so was not an issue for us. All in all a very well organised, friendly team making our holiday very special in deed. Will be booking again for next year!

Stayed at the Moonlight again in September for the 9th year running, and that says it best of all. We had a wonderful greeting from the hotel owners and the boys at the bar. It is like coming home. It is a hidden gem and it does what it says on the tin. It is small and friendly hotel. A family run hotel with a bar in the front. The rooms are a good size, with fridge and air con payable on arrival. The breakfast is great from cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, tea and coffee and fruit juice. The hotel has no swimming pool, but guests are able to use the hotel across the road's pool. Sunbeds are 7.50 euro for two sunbeds and an umbrella. The bar in the front of the hotel is run by two twin brothers, Boyan and Simon. These boys must be the two best barman in Stalis, if not the whole of Crete. After 12 months since being there, they still remember what drinks we were having. The bar because of the two boys has a wonderful atmosphere and is full nearly every night. I can't say anymore, except we are going back again next year and cant wait.

TUI Small & friendly never fail to disappoint & this was no exception. Lovely bright, clean apartment & very good breakfast. The guys who run the bar on an evening were friendly & helpful with advice & tips ok where to go. We used the pool across the road & couldn't fault it at all. A lovely & relaxing holiday. My fiancee & I both loved the holiday & Crete which is now my favourite Greek Island.

Another great holiday at the Moonlight Hotel Stallis. Best Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Stallis. Comfortable clean rooms. Friendly staff and the service is excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. We will be back again in 2026.
