Beautifully landscaped outdoor surroundings of the resort. Standard rooms, a bit outdated but clean. The food was very good. Drinks and coffee KATASTOFA! Need to buy the original outside the hotel. The overall impression is very good except for the unsatisfactory artificial drinks!

I have been to various hotels, 4/5 star and even worse and I have never encountered anything like I have here, the all inclusive option does not provide you with ice cream on a stick, some of the alcohol is paid for and the canteen manager is terribly arrogant, there was a group of 10 of us and even though there were seats available in the canteen the manager forbade us to sit together, which means if I came with my family I could not sit with them either because he does not like it. The food was not seasoned and the lady in the canteen wiped her nose in her apron which was a disaster. The alcohols were terribly watered down. The rooms were worse and better, unfortunately we ended up in the worse one on the first day, a terrible mess, after a conversation and a complaint at the reception we got a slightly better one. Towels changed every 3 days also poor for such a hotel. One part of the hotel seems to have been forgotten by the staff as there were all sorts of things floating in the pool and for 10 days no one cleaned the pool, mowed the grass and trimmed the bushes. I do not recommend and will never come back here again. I was terribly disappointed but nothing beats the canteen manager who was terribly arrogant throughout my stay.

So i want to warn you about this hotel by telling you about our "awesome" holiday. 1.airlplane was delayed by 2 hours 2.they put us in the worst room possible, it was 1st floor right next to pool and public toilets 3.room- dirty floor, body hair in drawers, AC switch was broken, then we somehow managed to turn it on but right after, water started dripping from light bulb (we could die) also there was no internet connection 4.then we went to reception to ask for different room, there was one sassy receptionist, we told her all problems, she said they know about it. *** they know about water coming from lamp and they dont FIX IT? Later we fought for new room, luckily we got it. But with new room, new problems occured. 5.2nd room- minifridge didnt work, also there was giant AC unit and generator right in front of our room, it was making noise 24/7, plus toilet was leaking 6. Super small dirty beach, water full of seaweed (there was public beach on the left, it was 100x better) 7. Food- low variety of food, most of it was fried pre-processed food 8. Personnel was horrible 9. That town is full of english students, bars, clubs

When we arrived about 2:30pm receptionist said to leave our luggage in reception and go and get some lunch as it closed at 3. After we had eaten we went back to reception and was directed to our room 328. Room was standard and seemed ok however noticed pretty quickly the aircon would not work. Went to reception after an hour or so and told them, they said to see how we go that night as it may ‘kick in’. The next morning we went straight to reception after what was an awful sleep in a really hot room. Was told we would have to wait until a room was available which would be mid morning. Was given room 38 which was much better, aircon amazing, view lovely. Television was in German and couldn’t change it to English, this was the same in the other room also. Food was ok, there is a variety and the salad is very fresh. Was very repetitive but what you’d expect with all inclusive. Awful how people rush down to reserve their sunloungers at 6am and go back to bed, so those of us who are up and wanting to sit in the sun on a lounger couldn’t as they had all gone even though no one was actually sat on them. I saw a sign saying no reserving but everyone was doing it!! So if you’re wanting a sun lounger be prepared to be up early. Gardens are beautiful and very looked after. Employees really friendly. Overall 8/10 stay

Minus -Small room and bathroom, nasty drinks. Everything equipment worn out. Other guests can be heard in the room. The blankets do not have sheets. Dirty dishnes in the dining room. Plus - garden, nice staff in the pool bar. The hotel doesn't correspond to it's category.

Excellent hotel, spotless, rooms spacious with balcony and fridge. Food and drink as you'd expect on all inclusive. Two lovely pools, one with steps to the beach. Plenty of shops and bars very close if you're going for a wander. It was mainly german/French people there during our stay. There was entertainment 2 nights out of 7 at the beach bar. The violinist was superb, the band not so much. We didn't go to the other entertainment. Points to note: I noticed there's no all all inclusive ice cream for kids outside meal times. The all inclusive stops at midnight sharp.

I recently visited Aegeo Spas which is located directly in the hotel and had a wonderfully rejuvenating experience. I had two sessions so far and booked a third one before departure. I received a fantastic relaxing back massage from therapist Paraskevi. The day after I had a pleasant scrub, this time from therapist Dimitra. The experience was capped off with a relaxing facial massage that was both gentle and rejuvenating. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring a serene and therapeutic atmosphere throughout my visit. I can recommend Aegeo Spas to anyone looking for a relaxing spa treatment. Spotlessly clean, everywhere, rooms comfortable and in a amazing location, friendly helpfully staff and good quality food, what's not to like, entertainment did the best with what they have but would like to of seen some traditional Greek dancing, mainly aimed at French and German but were made very welcome, we went in early May where age group is mainly 30 and above and was lovely and peaceful, but was told in June it is party time and very busy, taxi from airport was 55 euros, would I return, ..........definitely

The Dessole Malia Beach Hotel is situated in a perfect location that is easily accessible to all of the popular tourist attractions in Crete. One of the best things about this hotel is the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea from the rooms and the hotel's surrounding areas. The hotel's staff were friendly, especially the entertainment staff. The hotel boasts of excellent amenities such as a large outdoor pool, fitness center, and a spa where guests can relax and rejuvenate. The rooms are spacious and clean however our room was depressing due to tired old decor and furniture, which is a shame as the rest of the hotel was beautiful. I wouldn’t recommend the food at all, as being a vegetarian there was no variety whatsoever, and the food wasn’t labelled either which made it difficult to determine what I could eat. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hotel that has a good location right on the beach with a good pool, however due to outdated rooms and uncomfortable bed ,I personally wouldn’t return unless they renovated the rooms.
