"¡Wow! He estado en los lugares de la pareja antes y siempre ha habido un factor de submarino .......Empezamos con todo lo que fue bueno! 1. Estacionamiento justo al lado del alojamiento. 2. Views forever down the valley and over the lake, especially from the veranda on two sides. 3. ¡Muchos de la madera de fuego de tamaño derecho, así como todas las necesidades para comenzar fácilmente un fuego! (No se rían, esto es GOLD!!!!) 4. Realmente tradicional balinesa con techos de roca. El lugar sentía enorme, bienvenido y acomodado. El suite es enorme con duchas gemelas. Muy romántico ..... 5. Gran producto local en el hambre del desayuno (Continental). 6. Bienvenido, hostes amigables que respondieron inmediatamente al pequeño problema que teníamos baterías flat en la remota AC. Así ........plency of space both inside and outside, class, ambience, privacy, comfort and amenity. Yep, we will definitely return. Thanks Maleny Tropical Retreat. Cheers, Keith"

Spicers Tamarind Retreat

"It was just an overnight stay, but wow. We arrived at Spicers, tired and a bit jaded from overpriced "fine dining" establishments on our holiday. Our cabin, surrounded by tropical vegetation was gorgeous and well set out. We were hungry, having been let down by another high priced "chef's hatted" establishment and we ordered two mains to be delivered to our cabin. OMG!! We rate them as the best meals of our trip. A crispy white fish and a Duck Green Curry with steamed crab (not what you'd immediately put together but stunning). These two served with rice and a generous complimentary bottle of Prosecco restored our faith. The service was low key but perfect and our meal was delivered and the tray taken away without fanfare. I had a chat with Ty this morning before our departure and he made sure that we'd had a great stay and gave me a jar of chilli oil to take away. Easily the winner on our brief trip. Next time we plan to try a cooking class."

"The valley induces restfulness. I had big plans to go out on the deck and meander my way through a book, but the natural sights and sounds of the valley captivated my attention then lulled me to sleep. My husband and I hadn't had a good holiday for about 7 years. I couldn't have wished for a better space to reconnect. We could have easily stayed at the cottage for all our needs were provided for there. However, the lure of Maleny, Eumundi Markets and Montville were a little hard to resist. The day was busy, but it was easy to recover in the restful space that Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat creates. The spa might have helped too. "

"We loved the quality offering of Gingers vill - we stayed as a family which was perfect and only needed 3 bedrooms but think it would be odd to have 4 couples as downstairs separated by a barn door with gaps and one double would need to walk through the other double to use the ensuite or go upstairs. Also bit weird for the size of the villa there is only camping style cooking - plug in hot plate and fry pan. We only cooked breakfast so it worked but you couldn’t come and stay a few days and use the oven/cook a roast with potatoes etc."
