Fantastic stay, well positioned for all amenities, beautiful clean and well equiped room and super breakfast. 1st class. Friendly staff and spacious room and bathroom. We will return next time we visit Maldon. If your looking for a place to stay this is perfect.

My husband and I have recently returned from a two night stay at the Limes as we had a wedding to attend in nearby in Witham. Our room was gorgeous (room no4). It had everything you could possibly need….toiletries, iron, ironing board, fridge with daily fresh milk for your tea/coffee making requirements, together with gorgeous biscuits. We arrived latish so the keys to our room were left in the lockbox. After unpacking, we wend to dine downstairs at Luigi’s for a really lovely dinner…….WARNING….the portions are huge and the pizza ginormous!!!! My lasagne was absolutely delicious but I couldn’t finish it, so my husband managed to help me out. Great nights sleep in a really comfortable bed with fresh cotton linen. Down to breakfast at Luigi’s again…..full English and a smaller version was more than we could manage aside from all the cold buffet on offer!!!! Overslept the morning after the wedding, so too late for breakfast, our fault entirely. A wonderful stay, on site car parking, Wi-Fi etc……highly recommended.

The only minor criticism was the size of the attic room! Stayed for just a night to attend a celebration in Maldon! Both the meat and the veggie breakfast were perfect cannot fault in anyway!! Choice of buffet included granola and yoghurt, cereals, fruit and pastries. Friendly and attentive staff and dining room set up as a trattoria. Unfortunately we ate at our celebration so we’re unable to eat dinner that evening!

Lovely hotel, very nicely decorated room, sufficient parking BUT the room we had was very noisy and the blinds did little to stop the light coming in meaning we were awake from the early hours which is a real shame as sleep is understandably a key part of a night away somewhere

Stay here for 3 nights . We had 2 rooms in the annex room 10 a downstairs room and our number 15 upstairs . Both very nice but ours was boiling ( the weather was hot though ) we had the fan running all night . The breakfast was lovely . Help yourself to juices . Granola /yoghurt . Toast jams etc . The hot breakfast menu was so good . Staff very nice and friendly . Great having a free carpark but a very tight entrance to it off a busy street . Lovely high street round the corner with lots of shops cafes and bars . Loved maldon promonade park .

We stayed for two nights we would have stayed longer if they wasn't already booked, we took a young disabled lady to a family event so had the disabled room 9 which was fantastic with large wet room huge bed the lady who was staying in this room describe this room as a princess room, we also had room 5 at the top of the stairs which was also fantastic with all extras which really pushed the stay to another level the rooms were very comfortable and very clean beds were lovely and we all slept very well, Breakfast was fantastic, with a great choice to choose from, Staff couldn't be more attentive very polite and very happy to help with anything we were greeted by the owner on arrival who had said we could leave cases and equipment in the reception area when we checked out, they moved furniture around so we could get the wheelchair into the restaurant area and just generally really lovely people one staff member shone out for me was penny she was outstanding at her jobs she was waitressing she then cleaned the rooms then she was on reception this lady went above and beyond in her job, friendly happy lady just went above and beyond in her work she even phoned all different taxi services to get us a wheelchair accessible Taxi she just couldn't do any more for us which made our stay even more pleasant thank you penny for all you done to make our stay enjoyable I take my hat off to you, I just cannot fault this place in any way clean,friendly and with all the little extras most enjoyable stay would highly recommend for anyone visiting Morden for whatever reasons book a stay here if we ever go to Morden again I would definitely stay here again

What a great hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. All the extras in the room were very nice to have. Great breakfast in the restaurant and freshly cooked too. Very polite staff. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if we were in the area. Thank you 🤩
