Back home now after a wonderful two week stay here in a junior suite for which this review is based. Situated away from the main road and overlooking trees brimming with wildlife, great for my bird photography, John’s Highland Comfort Guest House boasts spacious rooms with a wet room/bathroom, comfortable living area with king size bed, ceiling fan, aircon, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and a large fridge containing reasonably priced drinks. Our suite overlooked the recently built swimming pool and towards the trees beyond that. Judy, the family and the staff were lovely and pleasant and looked after us. Rooms are kept clean daily with towels and bedding changed every few days. There is a shared kitchen area to prepare meals for yourself and use of a washing machine if needed. Excellent restaurants and a superb beach are within easy reach. In a nutshell, it’s basically a home from home. Will return again for sure, (we’ve already booked it)

This is the second time that we have stayed at Johns Highland Comfort. Very friendly family, comfortable and clean accommodation. They are have a swimming pool built which we hope will be ready in January when we return. Not to far from the beach this is an easy walk and will take about 15 minutes there is a little snack bar on the way if you need to stop for a coffee and snack. Restaurants near to the accommodation are very good and the staff are helpful just a couple to mention The Pentagon, Martins Corner Cameron.

Nice big beds, ceiling fan & a/c. Fridge with icebox, security box with key. Beds & towels changed regularly. Wet room shower, toilet all very clean. They are building a swimming pool. It is a short walk to The Camron restaurant, 50 meters ! If you rent a scooter there is a safe of road place to park it.

We came as friends & left as family a fabulous stay everything u need to make your holiday fabulous great clean rooms fresh linen & towels fridge with refreshments & water provided great internet & Tv in rooms cooking & washing facilities provided ❤️

Have spent several months in this great guesthouse. Owners and staff very helpful. Rooms are large, well equipped and very clean. Rooms cleaned daily , bedding changed very regularly. Loved our stay and will be returning. Thank you. See you soon Lotten and Chris

We have stayed here many times over ten years and it’s a lovely place to stay. Friendly family atmosphere. Feels really safe with the owners being on site. The new rooms are light and airy and have lovely views. The rooms are well equipped with a kettle, fridge, tv, a really good wet room shower, large balcony and complimentary tea and coffee. The new swimming pool is a good addition with sunbeds. Can definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation stayed in junior suite overlooking the pool and garden .Room was spacious bed comfortable.Cleaned daily .Access to a laundry room which was handy also a shared kitchen which had everything if you wanted to cook or make a snack The garden and pool areas are well maintained .Sitting on the balcony watching the birds in the garden was enjoyable. Most restaurants are walkable and there is a bus stop close by that takes you into Margao city Value for money and we will return
