Our first impression when we arrived was good. The parking lot was full but expected after a concert. Walked in as greeted with a smile and the front desk lady was very helpful. After we got to our room it was in slight disrepair. The sliding door to the bathroom was banged up, paint was scratched and the handle on the inside of the sliding door was gone. The water pressure, was weird. Couldn’t get cold water, but could get hot water from the sink, and the shower would alternate between hot and cold without warning. In shower the soap dispenser was broken and was just lying in the floor. There were cords hanging around the nightstand and the tv that just made it look like a rats nest. Little pet peeve of mine, if you don’t take care of the big stuff, how do I know you took care of the small stuff. Was woke up the next morning by housekeeping wanting to try to clean the room when we haven’t even checked out (only stayed one night). Went down to breakfast, was greeted by the front desk and again with a smile and a positive attitude. Got to breakfast with about 30 minutes to spare before it ended, the selection was sparse. Was able to make a waffle, but had to ask for a fork and a knife. I was directed to where they stored them by the attendant. I grabbed some for me and some extra to restock, and the attendant quickly removed the extra and muttered under her breath something along the lines of “creating more work when she was having to take it down.” As we were eating someone comes up to the line to get food. The attendant informs him that he has 3 minutes to get food. After the gentleman started to get food, the attendant is moving behind him shutting everything down. The gentleman wasn’t even completely done getting his food when the attendant turned the lights off in him. Over all the hotel was alright but not great. The front desk staff was pleasant, but that was about it. We chose this hotel because of the most recent glowing reviews, but it did not live up to the hype.
