Our second visit to this hotel, we had a Partial Sea View Suite (201) which was very spacious, with two balconies - one large and the second one on the side of the hotel where it was cooler. The staff are brilliant, friendly, attentive and caring, everywhere is kept spotless, the terrace, bar and pool area attractive and relaxing - all so good... Jazz Night on a Wednesday (the last 'set' of the evening not to be missed!), and Greek Night on a Sunday, very good. Already looking forward to returning next year!

First day in Lourdas and we stopped here for lunch as it was the only place we could find that was open! Nice hotel with outdoor seating for drinks and food. Staff were friendly and service was good. Menu was limited but we shared a Greek salad, cheese pie and meatballs, all of which were nice. Wine and beer was cold and much needed. Quite expensive for what it was but we were glad to have found it. A nice place to relax.

We spent two weeks at La Signora in June 2024 and have spent the intervening 12 months counting down the days until we could return. Delighted to say the 2025 vintage was every bit as enjoyable. The hotel is the definition of relaxation. It's not too big (35 rooms) but big enough to make you feel you are staying in a hotel with all the benefits that come with it as opposed to an apartment. The staff are some of the most friendly we have ever come across (in fact, within minutes, you look upon them as friends, not staff), the atmosphere is beautifully laid-back and the setting is stunning, with sea views from the public terrace, while in the other direction, Mount Ainos peers down on you. The weekly jazz and Greek nights are particular highlights. If I had to make couple of constructive criticisms, the pool could maybe do with a few more sunbeds (didn't bother us unduly as we prefer the beach but if you like a day by the pool you'd have to be up early to nab a bed) and perhaps the revamped menu would have benefited from keeping some of the Greek standards such as moussaka and stifado alongside the new more avant-garde offerings. These minor observations apart tough, what a brilliant hotel from where to enjoy the best of what Greece has to offer. Can't wait to return in 2026.

Maybe I was really unlucky, but the good reviews from this hotel did not match at all my staying at this hotel. The "garden view" was actually a noisy street with smelly plants. Poor ventilation, terrible smell (I did not open the windows during the stay and did not stay in that so called balcony with garden view). The breakfast was very basic. The room was expensive and definitely not worth the price. Other rooms may be better, but ours should not be rented. To try and be fair, here are the PROs : the location is very beautiful, very clean rooms, the toiletries were super nice. The staff is ok but they can not help you when dealing with these problems. And of course, they sent the complaints further 😆😆 Not coming back.

Lovely hotel with very helpful & friendly staff. We stayed in a Deluxe sea view room which was great. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very good, it is a continental breakfast with a small hot option, perfect. Go elsewhere if you’re looking for a full English, that’s not what Greece is about. Special thanks to Panos the pool bar man who was excellent, Anastasia, the waitress & all the reception staff who were all fantastic. Yes, the hotel is on a steep hill but if you’ve done your research you know that! My husband is not fit & he managed it by taking it slowly. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would recommend.

This is our second visit to la signora in as many years. The hotel offers a relaxed personal atmosphere with great views of the surrounding area The food is great quality and plentiful portion sizes , we liked the pizza The pool area is very clean and pleasant The room we stayed in had great views and very comfortable . The staff where very helpful and professional The only negative was the steep trek back up to the hotel from Lourdata beach we are in our 60s and could walk it ok we did see transport available for less active visitors

We were very pleased we chose La Signora for our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel's public areas are very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was good (although more than one vegetarian option would be nice - most of the restaurants in the area have several) and the bar area was a very nice place to have a drink. Staff were generally friendly and reasonably helpful, although a few of the more junior staff would benefit from more training. That and slightly variable housekeeping standards (several times items were not replaced or replenished) are the main reasons for 4 stars rather than 5. But at the price point (very reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the area) it's an excellent choice and we would happily stay there again. The Lourdas area is nice (although it's not a great beach) with lots of excellent restaurants and tavernas within about a 20 minute walk, either down to the waterfront or up the hill, although it takes a while to get anywhere else on the island and there is only one bus a day to and from Argostoli (and no other buses); if you can't get that then you would need to organise your own transport to go anywhere.

Stayed in early May, at the beginning of the season. Hotel was comfortable and had a good pool. Reception staff were very welcoming and thorough. The hotel has some drawbacks, in that it is situated midway up (or down) a very steep hill to the beach. The climb back to the hotel is not for the elderly or unfit. A car is a must as taxis are expensive and there is no public transport. In addition there was very little open when we first arrived, although restaurants gradually opened during our stay. If all the hotels and restaurants coordinated their early season opening times it would help. If you didn’t have a car there was very little to do in Lourdas, apart from sitting on the beach. The menu for eating at the hotel is very limited, and of variable quality. The bar staff appear very new, and didn’t really know what to do, leaving used plates uncollected and talking between themselves rather than being attentive. Getting a decent white coffee appeared beyond them. Breakfast was sub standard, with the hot options often cold, items running out very quickly, and no fresh fruit. Our room was ok, although the shower flooded the bathroom each time we used it. Bed was very comfortable. The beach was not brilliant, a mixture of grit, pebbles and sand. The number and closeness of sun beds around the pool resulted in some tension between guests at times. Flowers in the garden were beautiful. - [ ]
