The Maiden City Hotel

Myself and my husband went up for the night to Derry .. great wee city .. plenty of craic and friendly people .. our stay at Maiden city hotel was lovely,, bedroom spotless , lovely modern bathroom .. excellent bed and the continental breakfast was really good also .. thanks to Taylor and Kelly and all the staff .. we will definitely be back !

not happy with the political statement made by having the right wing GBNews on in the bar tv. my friend from England was really offended and wanted to leave.

We stayed for 4 nights in a family room with one queen bed and one single bed. The hotel was newly opened so everything looked fresh and fantastic. We loved the décor of the hotel and the rooms, and everything felt comfortable and cozy. The room was a great size with comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, plenty of storage space, a modern smart TV, and the usual amenities. The bathroom was modern and clean, but I have to say I can't stand these 3-sided showers. The shower is amazing with spectacular water pressure and temperature. Honestly it was a dream, but it also splashed water all over the place in the name of aesthetics. The mirror had built-in lighting as well as being steam-resistant, so you can still use it after a hot shower. Breakfast was included and served in a gorgeous little atrium. It's a 'cold' breakfast so there were cereals, pastries, yoghurt, toast, etc. It was good and we were able to have as much as we wanted, so while a simple breakfast we could at least load up for the day. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had not initially planned to stay for 4 nights but they were very helpful when we had to extend our stay. My only gripe would be the towels. Each guest has two towels. Your hair towel is basically the size of a hand towel, and your body towel is the size of a hair towel. t Overall we really enjoyed the hotel. It was the perfect proximity to what we needed, an extremely lovely room that we actively wanted to spend time in, and a shower that made you feel like you're born again, if you don't mind the wet floor afterwards. 10/10 would book again!

Hotel is impressive from you enter premises to you depart. Very friendly and efficient checkin. Spacious room and bathroom - extremely comfortable bed/pillows. Staff are very friendly and could not do enough for you - big shoutout to Macey who was so helpful friendly and efficient for someone so young (a gem 💎) overall hotel is immaculate and very tastefully designed. Continental breakfast is very good. Really enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation recommending this place. One small thing bath towels are a bit on the small side, maybe management could revisit this.

Classic boutique hotel, with a very elegant entrance so beautifully decorated and clean. Really impressed with this new hotel. Lovely local staff with a genuine warm welcoming personality. Bar really stylish, rooms fresh nicely decorated and clean, bathroom small but clean & perfect. Continental Breakfast was very nice, lovely pottery, and again beautifully designed. Parking next door in Quayside carpark £12/n (but you need to go to the parking office when leaving to get the £12/n rate if staying 2nights). Hotel very central, barstaff lovely, nice cocktails too. Will certainly return with friends and hubby again.
