Friendly welcome in the bar below. Room was stylish, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was large with a good shower. On the other hand my room was at the front overlooking the main road and the traffic noise was a little disturbing. I would stay again

Stated one night. Visiting the Oval for cricket and just needed a bed for the night. So tried this, I don’t usually choose this type of accommodation but am glad I did. Really good location for the Oval. 5 mins to Kennington tube, 10 to the The Oval cricket ground. Good safe busy location. At check in the young lad explained everything and showed me up to my room. Felt secure at all times and they give u a 24 hour mobile to call if you need help when the bar downstairs is closed. Room really good. Spacious, well laid out. Walk in shower, separate toilet and comfy bed. A room that any four star hotel would be happy with. One downside. The stairs. My room was on the top floor and anyone with mobility challenges would really struggle. Otherwise, a good base and I will use for any further visits to the Oval. Well done 👍

An outstanding hotel. Highly recommend. So convenient and near to the city center. The room was only fabulous. My first solo stay and it was so worth it. The girls in the bar were so friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they took our bags in until we could check in. So nice. Loved the decor and the tea and coffee facilities. The room has absolutely everything you need for an enjoyable visit. Will definitely return.

I chose this hotel for its location in Kennington where most of my activities were going to be based, and it really is in a great part of town, with some really interesting architecture and quaint little streets. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the tube station. I had arrived a little early, but my room was available just a few minutes later. Delighted to see the tea making facilities (I'd read about the coffee machine, but wasn't sure there'd be a kettle) and proper sized mugs. The aircon was efficient at cooling the place down, though too noisy to leave on overnight. I had some slight problems with the bathroom plumbing, but none was enough to warrant a request for a room change: the shower was too hot, the sink plug got stuck, and there was a bit of a drainage problem with the bath. The manager was very apologetic when I informed her the next morning, and got straight on to her plumber, so hopefully it's sorted for the next guest. There are lots of great eateries and bars nearby: I dined at Doost@Amici just 3 minutes walk away, where the Persian food was delicious, and had a nice couple of pints of Guinness at the White Bear pub, again just 3 minutes away. The bed was very comfortable, but maybe I should have brought earplugs: my room overlooked the main road, so there was lots of city noise, which I'm not used to. Breakfast was down in the pub the next morning, with a great discount for residents. The Turkish eggs were amazing, and set me up for the day! I would definitely stay again!

The boutique hotel was amazing. Just figured out how to do a review. We had 3 nights at this hotel. Loved the location. The bartender, waitress and staff were amazing. We ate dinner every night. Our last night was great. I am definitely going to come back. My husband and I loved our. Bed and pillows, claw foot tub, walk-in shower were awesome. Felt at home and staff were above and beyond. Sorry for late review Don and Cheryl Finnegan.

We stayed here on the back of an event we had held at The Tommyfield in November, and were very glad to have returned. We were brilliantly looked after from the moment we entered. The food and drink(s!) were spot-on; with excellent service from Teresa and the team. The room was well appointed and very comfortable - we would have loved to have been able to stay even longer. We only live in Clapham but shall definitely return for another night away.
