We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now, and each time it seems to be run by less staff. This time however, some of the staff were amongst the best we've had in any Premier Inn. The lady who's name I didn't get (Indian lady possibly in her 50's) who checked us in was professional and friendly, complementing our children's appearance and a genuinely nice person. We didn't see her for the rest of the stay. Then the person I really want to compliment is Shareef who run the breakfast restaurant for the mornings we were there. He did everything, from greeting, taking payment, clearing tables, answering queries. You could see he was rushed off his feet, but he never said 'no' to anyone. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He deserves recognition, and the restaurant should never be run by one person. And that is the theme of the entire time we were there. Good staff, but I had to spend so much time chasing after them (for someone at reception, to someone to serve at the bar, to getting served for the evening meal). It gives a poor customer experience, and it is obvious Premier Inn are trying to run this hotel on too few staff. But the staff themselves were great. I'm mature enough to appreciate that the issues we had wasn't their problem. We've stayed at many Premier Inns, and it seems like even though this is one of the largest we've been to, the staff numbers are the same. Thank you to the staff who looked after us. Premier Inn, help them out with more colleagues.
