Upper Deck Resort - Stay and Relax at the Highest Peak Lonavala

We visited the resort in Feb 2025, booked a cottage with partial mountain view. We came via train from Mumbai, and auto from Lonavala station. While returning, called the same auto driver and he dropped at Neeta Inn where we had booked a Neeta bus. Pros: - Great view from the resort - Well planned layout, with greenery and pool - Courteous staff Cons: - Food is costly, and quantity per dish is less (in a la carte) - Time taken to serve the dish is high - No wifi

Our stay at Upper Deck Resort in Lonavala was a serene escape, perched atop a hill with breathtaking views, especially during the monsoon season. The location is simply stunning, offering a panoramic vista of lush greenery and mist-covered hills that made our stay truly special. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The resort’s ambiance is tranquil, ideal for those looking to unwind and connect with nature. The food was another highlight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Each meal was a delightful experience, with fresh ingredients and flavors that satisfied our palate. However, it’s important to note that the resort does not offer room service, which might be a consideration for some guests. Despite this, the overall experience was delightful, and we would highly recommend Upper Deck Resort for a peaceful getaway amidst nature.

Had a very bad experience. Visited this place with my kids and mom who’s an elderly citizen. The security and the gate and person at the reception was really insensitive and rude. We wanted to look around the property and have food in the restaurant that was open to all guests. We were not allowed inside and they told us to leave. We informed that we have not come to stay since the resort was full, we just wanted to check the property and taste food. However we were bluntly denied. If this is the way guests are treated then it’s not long that the brand will be tarnished and they will regret the high handed attitude. Also a loss for them as I came with an intention to check the property for events purposes as I’m heading the HR department of a large financial institution. Great I got a flavour of their pathetic business sense and behaviour. I’ll not be returning to this place again and will definitely share my feedback in my network.

The resort is located on a hill overlooking the Valvan dam and a valley in Lonavala . It is by far one of the best locations around. The cottage type rooms are very spacious with a common balcony for four rooms overlooking the pool, the hill, the dam and the valley. Very convenient for a party of 10-12 to have common area for gathering for a chat or a cup of tea. Rooms are tastefully built with good amenities. The weather in winters and monsoons is just divine with clouds and fog floating right in the rooms. The food is just great. Lot of options in veg and non veg and extremely delicious and mouth melting. Desserts are good too. One may put on a few pounds just in a day. There is a nice trail one can do on a nearby hill and there are other recreational facilities as well. All in all, value for money is more than assured.

We were visiting Lonavala and were looking for something unique and beautiful property, So we came across this Resort it is located on hill top and fascinating journey to reach there. Rooms are old but the view you get from here is impeccable mountain all around beautiful Resort❤️ Food was delicious and staff were cooperative

Horrible service, bad hygiene, very badly planned rooms. Rooms has a direct viewnfor PPL who passed so we were on full display not tinted film or plants for privacy. Don't book this ever. Even the blankets were stinking . The the breakfast idli was stale
