"I unfortunately got sick a few days before moving here and considering the state I was in had the best experience none the less. The owner was in France but her doughter and son ran everything so smoothly ! She also speaks German and she was great help for me, getting to the clinic and to dr. Appointments and she also took care of my friend who was then on her own and showed her around, recommended hairdressers etc. The service level was amazing! Our room was a bit dark because the other side of the window was a gym room of sorts so we mostly had the curtains drawn (since I slept a lot no problem, otherwise maybe a bit depressing). But the AC worked fine and the other amenities were perfect ! Thank you so much:))"

Hotel Merveille Lome

"I feel that there should be a rating in between 'very good' and 'average' so i could rate this hotel like i want to. For a start its cheap as chips, its right in the market area so in the busiest part of Lome, but not too noisy, the rooms are really clean, have balconies so you can watch the bustle and the staff are lovely...but...OMG...it has the hardest, most uncomfortable beds ive slept on since i was young enough to backpack. I live on islands that you have to get a 12 hour ferry to, and, honestly, sleeping on the floor in the bar is more comfortable. So if you do not mind sleeping on granite, i totally recommend this place. Its safe, cheap and clean...but...omg..those beds."
