We stayed at Little Governors Camp from 26/06 to 29/06. Immediately We arrived, we were made to feel most welcome by Hillary and his team who were all amazing! Everyone used your name, they knew who you were when you arrive! Made you feel even more special. The ‘tents’ were just like a hotel room but under canvas. We had kumba’s, Elephants, Hippos and Monkeys with in the camp. The Security guards made sure you were safe at all times. In the evenings they used to walk you to and from your tents to the restaurant. The lounge area was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were served on the terrace over looking the marsh area. Dinner was served in the tented restaurant area. The food was fabulous, everything freshly made. We had a favourite pudding with they surprised us with on our last night. I had two helping as it was so good! You could have been forgiven in thinking you were at a Michelin Star Restaurant. All credit to Chef Fred and the Team! The meals were served by very attentive staff, who could not do enough for you! Thank you to you all, you are all amazing. Oliver… wow…our Driver and Guide for the 3 days we were there. What an experience. Oliver could spot an animal from a far. He was extremely knowledgeable telling us all about the animals and the beautiful area. We saw Cheetahs, Elephants, Lions, Hippos, Impala, Giraffes and Zebras to name a few. The drinks on the plain late afternoon, watching the animals go by. Very special times. Make sure you do the Balloon Flight, skimming over the tree tops, watching the animals below. We had a very gentle landing before being whisked off to have a Champagne Breakfast! We loved our stay here and couldn’t fault anything. This is definitely a 5 Star experience. A couple more special mentions to Richard for his gentle wake up calls with the Hot Chocolate, Coffee and the yummy Biscuits. To Isla who was there on an Internship, she was charming and so helpful. To Hillary and his amazing team, we can’t thank you enough. A great way to spend our anniversary. Would we go back………..of course in a heart beat!
