Jardim da Lapa by Shiadu

Nettes kleines Hotel. Schöne Außenanlagen . Zimmer recht einfach gehalten.Frühstück war gut. Negativ war das nachts um 2.00 Uhr der Kühlschrank so laut war das ich nicht mehr schlafen konnte und ich ihn ausgesteckt habe für den Rest der Zeit. Parkplatz nicht vorhanden. Nächstes Parkhaus 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu weit weg. Auf Grund der Lage würde ich nicht mehr hier übernachten

旅館從外面看平平無奇，進門之後別有洞天。客房數量不多。體面的早餐，舒適的樹下躺椅，二十四小時有人值班，且樂於提供幫助。不愧其boutique hotel的名號。 唯一遺憾是沒有洗衣機。但我們所住時日不多，所以不算大問題。

房間內設施齊全，五星級酒店有的都有，衞生也很不差，早餐也很豐盛，服務真心不錯

Très bonne accueil, petit déjeuner en buffet bien garni. Chambre propre, douche grande. La localisation un peu compliqué mais y a tram et bus pas loin mais ça vaut le coup pour l'hôtel.

Beautiful spot, hidden gem. Off the tranquil pretty streets you find a hidden oasis but easy access to the busier areas (SO pleased we didn’t stay nearer the centre). The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendations of how to get around and what to see. Breakfast food is fresh and delicious, warm croissants, eggs from their own farm and home made apricot jam. Great coffee too. Loved the immaculate pool which is salt not chlorine, had a peaceful swim (I was the only one I the pool, heaven) you swim as you smell the blossom and hear the bird song. Very comfy beds, I think king size, really good shower double size. Everything spotless. We were delighted and felt so lucky to have stumbled on this amazing boutique hotel much nicer than a big chain and such good value, like many reviewers have said feels much better than 3 stars and the staff are 6 star :) superb.

The hotel staff Fernanda and headquarter staff Rui are really great and considerate! I mixed up Jardim da Lapa and its other Shiadu sister hotel for duplicate double bookings on the same dates. I called up on 24 Dec Christmas Eve day, Fernanda patiently answered my call, and she helped me to get in touch with headquarter reservation staff Rui, they went extra mile to help me cancel one duplicate booking. Thank you so much for the gesture of goodwill, I really appreciate it! They offer 5 star service even before check-in!

This is a lovely hotel and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The lady who does the reception at night and the young man who booked us in were both particularly lovely people. ( just so the mangers know he looks slightly oriental ) Very clean rooms and public spaces. Breakfast varied and changed every day. Hot and cold dishes and lots of fresh fruit. Only thing which may improve this is for the food to be labelled these days it’s a most , especially with the increase in food allergies. Pool is small but pleasant. We enjoyed the location away from the busy centre and easy access by a bus at the end of the street. We soon got the hang of the transport system . Be warned it’s very hilly here and the whole of Lisbon is not good for people with mobility issues. The only negative about this hotel is that it is on the flight path and quite close to landing. Planes pass over every few minutes and all night! You can’t hear them if you close all of the windows, I you try to sleep with the windows open it’s unbearable.

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly, helpful staff and great rooms. It has a pleasant outdoor area for sunbathing and a small pool. The hotel is located out of the centre (which may not be ideal for everyone and is a long walk) but we knew this when we booked it. It is only approx 4 Euros for an Uber into the centre, or 2 Euros per person on the bus which run every 20 minutes (and the bus stop is very close to the hotel). The staff are all great and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. You can ask for gluten fee bread and muffins each morning, if needed. The room was spacious, clean and exactly what we needed for our 4 day stay. Some reviews we saw complain that the hotel is on the flight path for the airport but we found no issue at all with this - no noise and no sleep disruption. We had major issues on our last day because our flight was cancelled due to ATC issues in the UK. We were effectively stranded and needed to organise extra accommodation, replacement flights, trains etc. Fernanda let us use the reception laptop and she helped us with printing and answering a lot of questions! She also arranged a room for the night in a 'sister' hotel in central Lisbon so that we had somewhere to stay because the Jardim da Lapa was full. She really helped to make a stressful situation less tense!

Absolutely magnificent staff, room and general service. I am more than satisfied! The room was beautiful, clean and was cleaned every day. The breakfast and the coffee were 😋 And of course, the staff at the reception is simply great. Eager to help, to advice... Thanks everyone for making my stay here pleasant 😊 Should I ever come back to Lisboa, I shall look for a free room here 😇
