What an awesome hotel in a city with old boring traditional hotels. And hotel is a great new asset to the city. Restaurant is hip and great value for money. Rooms are small but got all u need and feels more spacious than the sqm u get! Don't miss the gym which is much better than many hotel gyms!

Even though our room was ready we had to pay 200sek extra for a checkin 1,5h early with the argument - you’ll be using the room 1,5h more…staff in reception greeted us like we really bothered her, talking on the phone with what seemed to be another staff member. We waited abt 3-4m until she finally thought she should pay attention to guests. Glasses in room had not been cleaned but filled w toothpaste at the bottom. We didn’t get the room higher up in the building, even though we had asked for it. When i asked for new glasses she reluctantly said we could have a room as per request no excuses, no smiles just very uninterested staff. Breakfast staff was brilliant though! We will not stay there again.

El hotel es muy amplio y cuenta con numerosas habitaciones en las que pueden disfrutar de diferentes alas. La recepción es agradable y el personal profesional y amigable. El hotel es un hotel de 3 estrellas, donde se encuentran los 2 estrellas. La habitación era muy confortable, pero el problema principal era que la habitación no tenía AC. La habitación está muy cerca de la habitación, pero la habitación está muy cerca de la habitación. El desayuno fue el punto alto - podía ver una amplia selección de alimentos, aunque más orientado al norte. Me habría gustado un toque de alimentos orgánicos, si no locales, más interesantes té y jugos más bonitos. El pan era fresco y genuino. Podría estar bastante lleno durante el desayuno, pero no una situación imposible de resolver. No obstante, me di cuenta de que mi habitación y la zona alrededor de los ascensores, se sentían un poco obsoleta, seca. La habitación estaba muy bien limpia (aunque no se llenó durante mi estancia), pero era muy estándar en la calidad de los materiales y la apariencia. El precio no era demasiado alto, pero tampoco en el lado más barato, pero creo que es razonable para la ubicación y la calidad.

The front desk was non-existent, there was no desire to help or make our stay pleasant. Every time we tried to get help we were told ”I don't know what you want me to do” and they apologized. Hair in the towel. The shower didn't work burned us. Service fee of SEK 80 regardless of what you wanted delivered to the room, the first time ever. The receptionist thought we could book a more expensive hotel if we wanted room service (this is a 4 star hotel). The breakfast plates on the buffet were replaced with smaller plates. No mini bar or fridge, no toiletries. A very suspicious white spot on the bedspread. When we were about to check out, the receptionist refused to ask how our stay was, instead telling us how amazing the breakfast was and asking rhetorical questions about the breakfast and the spa. We were in contact with 4 different receptionists but the same thing applied to all of them, they don't seem to want to work there. The hotel wants you to serve yourself, it’s even written on the walls.

Booked this place on a whim mainly for the name, as massive fans of Fawlty Towers. Arrived to a fantastic and sublime hotel. The interior when you enter is part ******* House and part 1920s classic hotel in all the good ways. There’s cool quotes on the walls and funky pictures and portraits. There’s a knight in shining Armor literally in the stairs. Frankly at check in I was already intrigued. Once we got our room (we got the 4 person room which I think there’s only one of) we opened the door and both my kids squealed with delight and glee as they both were swept away by the grandiose interior, with two separate double bedrooms connected by a doorway, and through one of the rooms there was a snag staircase leading to the best bathroom I’ve seen. It has starry lights in the ceiling, a lovely shower and a little old chair to just chill in whilst sitting around in the loo. When we finally went to bed the beds were “The best we’ve ever slept in” according to wife and kids. Really comfy and well made. I’m also very pleased with the tv having a pairing setting so you can cast from your devices to so you can watch all your shows and downloaded Netflix series. Big win. In terms of location, it is by a big road so if you keep the windows open you may get some noise, though I didn’t particularly notice it. No offense to Linköping intended, but by 10PM I’d say it was pretty calm and not some kind of metropolitan Hellscape. It’s worth it since the hotel is right by the station AND only a 5 minute walk to the center of town and 9 minutes to the cathedral and called. Overall, I booked this on a whim and ended up finding a gem I really hope to visit again.
