have stayed at Premier Inn Lincoln city centre several times. It is chronically under-staffed. On the first evening of my stay, it took the restaurant staff 10 minutes after my booked time to give me a table. Staff were stressed or less than cordial. The following morning, tables were uncleared and empty tables without cutlery. The juice jugs weren't filled. The only staff were kitchen staff. On the second morning, one of the kitchen staff did an excellent job of running both breakfast and restaurant. In my opinion, this typifies UK businesses who fail to invest in front line staff, upon whom their reputation surely relies. To advertise extensively promoting the quality of Premier Inn rooms with comfy beds when service is clearly lacking on the ground floor is counter productive. I have a Flexi booking for Sunday 6th April. In the light of my customer experience, I am considering cancelling my booking and trying Damon's hotel on Doddington Road instead.
