Greenhills Hotel Limerick

Great Hotel with super staff. The rooms are very clean, bright, airy & smell wonderful. Restaurant/Bar food is awesome, I would highly recommend the chowder, it's the best I've ever tasted, absolutely delicious Awesome Pool & Gym, 2nd visit & definitely will be returning again!

Booked online 3 days before arrival. Was traveling with a disabled friend in a wheelchair so booked a disabled accessible room (122). The room was inadequate for a wheelchair user, was very small and dark inside. My friend couldn't use the wheelchair at either side of the bed as there was no room. I said to reception and they said there was nothing they could do except move furniture, which wouldn't have solved anything. Room 122 is not large enough for a disabled accessible room and can't be called so just because it has a disabled shower, which had no seat or chair, had to ask for a chair to be brought to the room. Ate in the restaurant 2 out of our 3 nights. Do not get the black pudding stuffing in pork steak, was ill for the next 2 days. Staff in restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was a half filled buffet counter of fruit and bread. The drink dispensers for milk and juice were filthy, photo attached. One particular waitress on the Thursday morning was rude and uncourteous. Still waiting on our pot of tea. Overall a bad experience and will not be returning. This hotel is also a distance from Limerick with a toll nearby each time to enter or leave Limerick. Did not use leisure facilities as these are in a seperate building next to the hotel. Reception staff also very unhelpful.

Lovely hotel. 15 mins from bunratty, 30 mins from Adere. Pool Lovely, no lifeguard on duty though. Staff could be managed better in bar so all areas covered at all times, experienced bar person would be such an asset. Polite staff. Food amazing, average 20€ main course. We enjoyed everything we ate. There was a banging door all night near our room so not the best sleep, comfy beds. Awful smell from the bathroom constantly and second floor a bit smelly. We just left window open. Music in bar Saturday night was nice.

Our family of 7 booked into the Greenhills at short notice for a family funeral. It was so nice to be somewhere so welcoming. We ate in the bar and all 7 of us throughly enjoyed our meal, really good portion sizes & exceptional quality. Rooms were excellent, plenty of space in our triple room and immaculately clean. Receptionists were very helpful when we needed them for a minor emergency. I look forward to returning for a more leisurely stay in the near future.

Rooms are lovely, everyone working in the hotel from reception to dinner, bar, leisure centre, everyone was so welcoming and attentive. We had 6 rooms booked for a family gathering, we had a wonderful weekend, thanks to the fantastic team who couldn't have been nicer. The food was fantastic, great quality and generous portions. All very reasonably priced for how good it was. Highly recommended.

Got breakfast with a family member,had steak and eggs,the steak was quite rough,bad quality and very hard to chew,ate less than half of it,rest of the order was good,staff are amazing but paying 18.95 € for bad steak,fried eggs,half a tomato,chips and pepper sauce is outrageous,i also had the feeling it wasn’t the first time they were told about the steak being very bad quality.
