The hotel is designed by famous designers, and the courtyard is newly decorated as a whole. It has 12 guest rooms with different styles, two public tea rooms, bar counter and outdoor leisure area. All guest rooms are equipped with customized latex mattresses with moderate hardness, pure manual solid wood furniture, artistic walls, well-known brand bathroom, electric curtains, Gree central air conditioning and 5-second hot water system. Great place to stay in the 古城.. the owner still walk out the main street to pick us up personally incase we lost the way as we check-in around 9pm after the sightseeing.. we have some yummy sweet soup daily to prevent high attitudes sickness.. 7 mins route to the stay include a slight slope n steps so just need to walk slow.. as they will arrange transport for luggage to the main entrance

Butler was helpful//waited for us to help with luggages before and after our stay.
Breakfast is good, came with soy milk with is good for lactose intolerant people.
Location is in the city area but the noise before 12am can be quite loud as it is located near drinking area.

We really loved staying here, the staff treated us so warmly. When my family suffered from altitude sickness the staff helped us to get medicine and made us dinner. Would 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our visit special. We especially loved the tea time—it was such a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful old town, which was just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again!

they will contact you in advance and help you to carry your luggage as the road is very bumpy and quite a distance from the town entrance. Great location, the hotel is located in the middle of the town. The room is clean, aesthetic and the bed comfortable. Overall is a great stay!

Location is excellent, inside ancient City, 3mins walk to the exit for Taxi or bus and 1min walk to the most crowded street inside the ancient City, very convenient. The owner is super friendly, always invite us for Tea-Chat, very relaxing trip. Owner also very considerate welcome us at the entrance and send us to take the bus tour. Feel very warm every night they serve the dessert, the Breakfast although is just a simple noodle or porridge but it is very delicious. Will highly recommend to my friend.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. The room was clean and well-maintained, with modern amenities that made our stay very comfortable. The cosmetics provided in the bathroom were of high quality and added a nice touch to our stay.
The bed was also very comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. We had to leave early in the morning, and the staff kindly provided us with a pack away breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture.
We had booked a one-bedroom room, but they also provided us with an extra quilt which was much appreciated. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at 素隐堂. Service is amazing, from tuk-tuk service that transported our luggage to the tailored desserts brought to our door every night. Staff is friendly and treated us like family. They have a docile German Shepherd dog that can calm even the most canine-phobic guest. Breakfast is the Yunnan noodle speciality. Highly recommend.
