Brief: Unhelpful staff, no one at the front desk, broken amenities (broken lamp, leaking sink)
There were underwear (which I believe belonged to the owner) hanging in front of my room for the entire duration of our stay.
On the day of checkout, we had to take a night train, so we asked the hotel if we could use a bathroom to shower. The hotel didn’t allow us to use one, which we understand may be due to their policy. So, we decided to book another room (the cheapest one available) just to take a shower. We used WeChat to inform the staff and asked them to check us in and move our luggage to the new room. She told me to speak to the front desk staff, but there was no one there. Around six elderly people were sitting nearby, and they pointed me to the adjacent hotel without calling the staff, even after I asked them to.
So, I went to the neighboring hotel to talk to the staff, and she confirmed that they would handle the auto check-in and move our luggage to the new room. However, the next day when I returned to the hotel, I could still see our luggage inside the old room through the window. The front desk was still unattended, as usual.
I had to go to the adjacent hotel again. They asked me for my passport again and were unaware of everything I had discussed with the staff the day before. I had to explain the entire situation all over again.
Many amenities in the room were broken (a broken lamp, leaking sink, and non-functional mirror light). There was a window with no curtain, and I could see someone’s clothes hanging outside. There was no privacy at all.
