Lijiang Flower Sea Inn (South Gate of Ancient City)

This is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in when traveling abroad.   Everything is excellent. The location is in Lijiang Old Town, near the South Gate, which is convenient for taking a bus or walking around the old town. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The accommodation itself is very clean, tidy, and has complete facilities, including automatic toilets, hot water, air conditioning, and heating, making it very comfortable to stay here. In addition, the most impressive thing is the owner of the accommodation. He is a very lovely person and has the best service mind. I contacted him before booking; he gave good advice and was willing to help. So I decided to book here. When I got to stay, everything was exactly as I had read in other reviews. The place is good. The owner is nice and very supportive. He helped carry the luggage from the entrance, recommended, chatted, and made tea for me to drink. Even though he is not fluent in English, it is not a problem because you can use a translation app. I have traveled to many countries. Staying here exceeded my expectations and made the most impression on me. If you have a chance to stay in Lijiang Old Town, I would highly recommend you stay here.

I'm from Thailand and find some difficulty during visiting China. However I got help from this hotel owner to arrange the day trip to Tiger leaping george for me very well since other agency does not allow me to join the trip with other chinese people because it is very hard to communicate with the driver due to language barrier. Below is my experince for 2 nights stay in this hotel. 1. Location is perfect. It is located in the alley nearby the main south gate which is only 1 minute walk from the entrance. You can chat with the hotel to ask for help to carrying your luggage when you arrive at the gate entrance. 2. Free snack, fruit and tea at the lobby which is very impressive 3. Many optiona for breakfast with excellent taste. 4. Beautiful garden at the center of hotel. 5. Nice room decoration and very functional including the modern automatic flush toliet 6. Grocery store is opposite the hotel which is very convinence. I will definitety stay here again if I have a chance to visit Lijiang.

Excellent service. The husband and wife homestay owners are very friendly &helpful. 赵哥，the owner helped to bring in and out our 4 large luggage to the homestay as the car is not allowed to drive into the ancient city The wife helped to prepare 汤圆 for us to celebrate 冬至. Really appreciate her efforts. What a lovely couple. ❤️❤️❤️。 The location is excellent. just few minutes walk to catch 'didi'. This homestay is highly recommended.

The hotel is a short 200m for lijiang's east gate and is near to amenities. The place was incredibly clean and surprisingly soundproofed even though it is next to a pedestrian street. Bed and fittings were very comfortable and hotel owners were very friendly. They also helped to move the luggage from the gate to the hotel.

Booked 3N and extended 2 more, as it was such a warm and friendly experience. The couple that runs the place was very attentive and willing to help arrange day trip to surrounding places. The hotel location is near the quiet edge of the old town, yet easy walking to main attractions.

The owners are very friendly, picked us up and helped us with the luggage. Took the time for us with sightseeing recommendations and was thoughtful to even prepare breakfast to take away before the breakfast time. The room is clean and spacious with good quality of bedsheets and with good facilities. Location is perfect near the South Gate of Lijiang Ancient town, super convenient to grab a taxi or take the bus. It is in the Nanmen street which is next to the Main Street of the ancient town. A more quiet place.
