The Villafound Jade in Lijiang is located at Yuhu, which is a picturesque village beside a lake at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain. The formerly Mu Chieftain built the Summer Palace and the Yulong Academy there, and hedged land and raised deer in it. It is thenature's grand design, actually. Mr. Locke also deeply loved this place, living there as long as 27 years, and put all of his thoughts and affection in the book, THE ANCIENT NA-KHI KINGDOM OF SOUTHWEST CHINA, presenting Yuhu to the world. With the topography as basis and the landforms as assist, the Villafound Jade in Lijiang practices the concept of communion with nature. There are lakes and hills. You can look up the toweringSnow Mountain covered with snow all the year round, look down the panoramic view of the whole village, and also can overlook the overall prosperity of the Old Town of Lijiang.The Villafound Jade get all the beautiful scenery in it. Big French windows replaced the darkness of traditional Naxi residence. From sunrise to sunset, the warm sunlight touches each corner and the fresh air flows in each space. The melt water from the Snow Mountain are flowing around the villas, and there are the luxuriant and well-spaced flowers and trees everywhere. Our 管家 妙妙 was the so helpful in helping us before/during/after our stay. She arranged for a free upgrade, and even a massive whole birthday cake. The hospitality from her was brilliant that we want to come back for another holiday.
This place offers a lot of activities that you really don’t need to head out of the town. The best thing was following the hotel group to check out the sunrise at 玉龙雪山.
Best dinner hotpot there as well.

This was my favourite hotel of the entire trip! We felt welcomed the instant we stepped in as 妙妙our personal butler came to greet us with superb service. One of our luggage bags had a tear and she immediately arranged for another staff to come see it and hep solve the problem! Really appreciate that a lot. Breakfast was also a traditional meal of Naxi cuisine and our hut was extremely cosy and warm with everything we needed. Love this hotel!!!

We had an amazing stay. The exquisite setting, thoughtful activities and delicious afternoon tea and breakfast made for a very memorable experience. The personalised touch when it came to service also made this better than any 5 star hotel stay in recent memory.

Probably one of the best stay during our 6d5n trip in Yunnan from Kunming to Dali to Lijiang. Hotel staff was really friendly and there’s aplenty of activities available to keep you engaged. Enjoyed the hot milk tea and corn at 9pm after returning from the long day out!

Customer service provided was extremely good. The room is good with Mountain View from the windows. Breakfast and dinner were perfect. Oxygen machine also provided for those needed.
Overall one of my greatest hotel stay experiences.

One of the most special hotels we’ve experienced in our China trip. 小邰 Xiao Tai was super helpful throughout our stay from arranging airport pick up to nearby activities like Naxi family visits, complimentary photoshoots, campfire experience and mountain sunrise trips. He even delivered the afternoon tea set to our room since we arrived late from the airport! We really enjoyed our stay because of him.
The room is super clean and has floor heating if it gets cold. The staff provides water, snacks and pot noodles free of charge every day. Breakfast was lovely especially the noodles and chicken hot pot! You can also ask for medicines in case you experience high altitude sickness for free.

definitely 10 out of 10. thanks to our personal butler who gave us a free villa upgrade. The whole team provided superb services to us right from the moment we check in up to the point the villa's driver send us off to a near by town. Thanks to everyone especially our butler Mr Joe, you made our stay at the Villa a memorable one.

The hotel has a very mystical vibe to it, a perfect blend of historical town feels with modern luxury amenities. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, we are vegetarians and they went above and beyond to cater to our taste and made some really nice traditional dishes. Joe, the manager there was very very helpful, he picked us up, offered to drive us to nearby villages and even cooked fried rice for us to take to the snow mountain. Overall the property, view, staff everything was top notch. Highly recommend it!
