Lijiang Pu Zhi Designer Hotel HOLIDAY VILLA (The Old Town of Lijiang South Gate）

I don't usually write reviews, but this was one of the best stays we had, with everything surpassing even the 5- / 6-star hotels. Sincere thank you to all the kind staff who made our stay so enjoyable and wonderful, we absolutely loved the warm breakfast, night dessert, on top of the clean room, modern design, smart home feature, special arrangement for early breakfast, help with luggage, the list goes on. Thanks again for making our stay in Lijiang such a memorable one.

How i imagine staying with family would be like. Located in a quiet part of bustling Lijiang Ancient Town, front of house rode a bicycle cart to the south gate to pick up our luggage on arrival, prepared warm sweet soup (晚安甜汤) every night, welcomed us back from a day of touring with rose tea (花茶) and provided a simple daily breakfast. The room was well appointed with a smart home system that was very fun to use, and premium products like a dyson hairdryer and smart toilet with automatic washlet.

During my stay in Lijiang, I chose the PuZhi Hotel, and my experience was exceptional. One of the main highlights of this hotel is its proximity to the old town of Lijiang, located just a few minutes’ walk away. This ideal location allowed me to easily explore this beautiful historic area. PuZhi Hotel stands out for its branded amenities, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. Each room is equipped with Dyson hairdryers and Kohler showers and sinks. These refined details greatly contributed to my comfort. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. The hotel staff was extremely attentive and answered all my questions about the city, providing valuable information and tips for exploring Lijiang. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable, allowing me to fully enjoy my stay in a pleasant and well-maintained environment. During my first visit to Lijiang with friends, we stayed at PuZhi Hotel, and we were delighted with our experience. The service at PuZhi Hotel is exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the porters and concierges took great care of us. Every detail was thought out for our comfort: Dyson hairdryers, Kohler brand showers and sinks, and even a Home Cinema projector for our relaxing evenings. All the equipment is of the highest quality, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the best aspects of our stay was that we didn't have to worry about anything at all. The hotel took care of everything, including transporting our luggage to our room, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time. The welcome was very kind, and they answered all our questions about the city, providing us with helpful information and tips. The hotel's garden is a true haven of peace, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing, away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, allowing us to fully recharge. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the included breakfasts and afternoon teas were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Yunnan specialties included in the breakfast, especially the Yunnan rice noodle soup. Every morning, we appreciated the variety and quality of the food offered. In summary, our stay at PuZhi Hotel was exceptional. The service was incredible, and all the facilities were of great quality. This hotel allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of big cities. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to discover Lijiang in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

Very happy to meet up the owner who hospitality goes beyond the words that I can described. My wife and me will definitely retuned to his hotel if visiting Lijiang again.

We had an amazing time at Pu Zhi Hotel for 3 nights, and everything was just perfect! The hotel, which recently opened this year, surpassed our expectations in every way and everything is clean and tidy. As other reviews have mentioned, the welcome refreshments, breakfasts, afternoon tea, and evening desserts were all exceptional and infused with genuine warmth. What meant a lot to us was that it was our first time in Lijiang, and we were traveling with elderly family members. The staff took great care of us, giving us helpful tips and recommending restaurants based on our needs. They really made us feel welcome and supported throughout our stay. The unexpected Christmas gifts truly touched our hearts and added to the joy of the holiday season. We deeply appreciated the thoughtful gesture, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the festive spirit. We would definitely give Pu Zhi Hotel a 5-star rating because of the amazing staff and their traveler-focused approach. We had an incredible stay there!

The inn is located in a quiet corner of the old village and the staff are really nice and friendly. They helped us with all our luggages after we alight at the roadside, which was a pretty far walk in. The rooms were clean and there was warm sweet soup every night. We checked out the inn with local delights , gifted by the inn. Great stay. Nice complimentary breakfast, tea too!

Good services. Staffs are so nice. Wonderful breakfasts and afternoon tea everyday. Laundry service and airport drop off. Love the room and location.

The hotel staff took a good care of me and I was very pleased with how they treated me since i was traveling by my own. The hotel is new and clean!
