Aysgarth Falls Hotel & Restaurant

We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and we found it! Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Our room was spacious and modern, the en-suite bathroom was huge. The view from our room was stunning! The staff were all very attentive and efficient. The dining room had spectacular views such a tranquil place to eat your meals. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend staying at Aysgarth Falls Hotel and we will definitely be back! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

What a beautiful place to stay lovely views all around, and spotlessly clean all the staff were lovely would definitely recommend eating in the restaurant the meal we had was excellent. The bed was very comfy with crisp fresh sheets had a great night's sleep will definitely be going back

I stayed here mid October with a walking group and was impressed at every aspect of the facilities. Staff were approachable and helpful and the rooms were great. Everything was considered and a great stay. A good selection of food and the breakfast was to die for. 😀

We stayed in this smart, tastefully furnished hotel which seems to cater well for both locals and tourists. There is a good selection of books in the snooker room. t is a short pleasant walk to the famous Aysgarth Falls but do be aware, if you have walking difficulties, that the road down is very steep. There is parking at the nearby National Park Centre which has much easier access. Our room was well equipped with a large bathroom with both shower and bath. The underfloor heating in the bathroom made it feel cosy. However the bedroom did not feel comfortably warm. Before dinner we reported this and someone came to adjust the covered radiator. Unfortunately when we came back the room was still not very warm. The helpful manager then brought us a portable heater which solved the problem. The bed was very comfortable and the TV a good size and easy to operate. We opted for dinner in the bar area and had burger and chips and grilled chicken which were both very good. Breakfast was served in the Restaurant and we had a window table with a nice view of the garden area which would be a pleasant place to sit in better weather. The breakfast offering was good with two types of fresh melon and pineapple plus yoghourt and berry compote. Tea is served to the table and coffee and toast are self service. There's a good selection of hot food to order and also very nice croissants. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

I spent two nights at this hotel. The rooms are very beautiful and tasteful, in my opinion. When it comes to the reception, it very much depends, on who is there. Given that there is no elevator, it can be a bit of a problem, especially, if you are on the top floor. Some members of the staff are very kind and service-oriented, some are less. On the whole, a good hotel.

We visited for a friend’s wedding. What a wonderful place food is amazing rooms spotlessly clean but the icing on the cake for me is the hospitality. Staff were faultless and attentive. Will deffo visit again 5 star Are having lodges built so can’t wait to stay in one when complete.

We enjoyed our stay completely. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view out of our window over the hills. Dinner and breakfast were excellent too. We would certainly stay there again. If you just want to relax or go walking in the beautiful countryside this hotel is the ideal place to stay.

Pleasant hotel being very clean and friendly . Room met our needs well and had a comfortable bed . Food , evening meal and breakfast , was most enjoyable . Great location for exploring the area and plenty of walking routes and trails . Plenty to do in the area .

Beautiful location and rooms. Comfy bed. Staff were great. Very cosy. Fab bar area. Only let down was the main meal could have been better. Overall a lovely stay and would go back for sure. Great walks nearby. Good for a stay in the dales and for group meet ups.
