Saw some bad reviews and responses from the hotel. When I got to the hotel, I said to myself that those bad reviews were unfounded.
Was quite happy with it.
Good location, clean and Voice controlled lights, aircon and TV.
That is until I can not watch normal TV unless I pay.
Rang the receptionist. She said she would send a guy to have a look at it. The problem started.
This ***** made a condescending remark saying I don't understand hi tech stuff.
I told him to show me how Hi Tech TV works. He can't. After he fiddled with the remote for more than an hour. He told me not to watch normal TV. Just watch whatever is on. Telling me those recorded TV series is better than normal TV channels.
How do I watch the news? I asked him. WATCH IT ON YOUR PHONE he responded. I said, "Hasn't anyone asked to connect to normal TV channels?" He said "no one watches normal TV. You are the only one"
I had to scream at him 5 times "I DON'T WANT TO WATCH TV SERIES. I WANT TO WATCH THE NEWS" before he called someone to show him how to connect to normal TV channels.
Turned out it was simply select the HDMI input instead of the set top box. Not a bad hotel at all apart for this Hi tech-savvy guy. 😀😀😀😀
Would have stayed an extra night if not for this guy.
