Hôtel Le Moulin de la Beune - Restaurant Au Vieux Moulin

Beautiful location near a stream and surrounded by nature. The staff was really nice and professional. The experience was magical and the rooms are really clean. Breakfast was also suitable for people who are celiac, you just need to ask in advance.

This pretty mill, allthough set in the middle of the town, is set down below the road under an arched bridge that drips with hanging ivy. When you are in the garden you wouldn't know that the town is there as you sit and listen to the trickling water as it lazily passes over the wooden wheel. They accept animals in the ground floor rooms that are simple, with terracotta tiled floor and white decor. Another great advantage is that these rooms have an independent door to outside without having to pass through the main lobby. The staff were very kind and the Russian lady went out of her way to be helpful. Sadly there is no way of making your own tea /coffee in the bedroom and I regretted asking for a cup of tea (1 teabag and a pot of hot water) as it cost me €4.55! We didn't eat in the restaurant whilst there, though we did have breakfast on both of the two days which is served in the mill room of the restaurant. It was fine though nothing to write home about. I was a little disappointed as it was quite ordinary ... some bread and jam, some wet, pink rolled ham and slices of emmenthal or goats cheese and some plain yoghurts or compote. Big machine that made coffee, chocolate etc. A bit too standard and something you might find in a Formula 1. I must say that the croissants were very good though! I hope they may up their game on this front, but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. They do have parking in front of the hotel and another spot for the restaurant if in front of the hotel is full.

Vu de l'extérieur, le cadre de cet hôtel est idyllique (moulin, cours d'eau, canards...) et sa proximité avec le centre est juste parfait. Mais j'ai accumulé les déception: il faut arriver tôt pour se garer proche de l'hôtel (les 1ers clients se garant comme s'ils étaient seuls), le 2nd parking étant situé plus haut et aux espaces non délimités, misère en période estivale. La chambre au RDC est sinistre car seule fenêtre est la porte elle-même dont il faut fermer le rideau pour ne pas être visible. Propreté inexistante : WC avec petites traces au fond, poil sur le lit, 2 araignées avec toiles + papillons + moustiques. Pas de clim, pas de possibilité d'aérer une SDB. Position du pommeau non réglable : soit il inonde la pièce, soit il faut faire moins d1,70 et se coller contre le mur. Payer près de 100€ pour ça... à l'opposé de mes 5 nuits à Campagne, à 5km d'ici.

Cadre magnifique, personnel accueillant. Propre. Service bar agréable au bord de la rivière. Concernant la chambre, lit 140 matelas pas confortable, très petite douche petite WC dans la salle de bain déjà petite.

Hôtel charmant - son extérieur en est un atout majeur où il fait bon prendre un verre au bord de l’eau. La chambre que nous avons eu était bucolique, la literie de bonne qualité. Très bien situé, les restaurants sont à moins de 5mn à pied. Le personnel est très agréable et peut vous indiquer de bonnes adresses de visites.

Un bel accueil, une chambre un peut petite mais confortable, la salle de bain quand à elle mériterait d'être refaite (carrelage blanc, un peu vieillot ...) L'endroit est agréable, un beau jardin, un parking une peu petit mais correct, et des petits déjeuners magnifiques dans le restaurant à coté.
