Naturhotel Forsthofgut

Naturhotel Forsthofgut was hands down the highlight of our honeymoon. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and everything about the experience felt intentional and relaxing. We spent most of our time enjoying the spa, the pools (especially the adults-only one), the saunas, and the terrace. The food was amazing. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and the five-course dinners each night were incredible. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and really made us feel taken care of. One unexpected perk was the guest card that gave us free access to the gondola twice a day, which made hiking and exploring the area really easy. We also did a guided hike with Claus, which we’d highly recommend. There were a few small things that weren’t ideal: the croissants were a little dry, water isn’t complimentary, and drinks were on the pricey side (though the menu was great). Lunch is served a bit late, from 3:00 to 5:00. And while the hotel does a good job of separating family and adult spaces, there were quite a few kids around, and not all of them were well-behaved. Still, none of that took away from how amazing our stay was. Forsthofgut is a beautiful, peaceful place and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

What a magical place. Beautiful property and surroundings. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Has something for everyone-adults, kids, families. Food is delicious. Their people truly make the difference. Just to shout out Boris, Moritz, Norman, Szaffi working in the food services. Also Rupert who provides the guided hikes: amazing! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special.

The food, the Service, the staff and although the cleanliness are perfect. We loved to stay here and will come back next year. The food was outstanding! The Service (Tom/ Sebastian) are perfect! Janja cleans very well!!! The Reservation department, especially Alina and Jana make a great job!!!

Beautiful from head to toe. Very chic design. An air of quiet luxury is everywhere you go. Stayed twice and cannot love this hotel more. A real gem. Staff are super friendly. Anna Schäfer, the receptionist, helped me on multiple occasions and she is an utter pleasure to communicate with. The hotel is so lucky to have such a wonderful lady take care of the reception. Just love the Spa, which is totally stylish yet low-profile.

Outstanding hotel, especially if travelling with children. So many lovely touches and they have thought of nearly everything to make a trip with small children still feel like a luxury holiday as parents. So much on offer in the spa, for children to do, and wonderful food. Ski- in and out and excellent skiing lessons with their ski school partner. We cannot wait to go again!

Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape from the luxurious suite. The entire room smells clean, equipped with a matching natural colour design, comfortable bed and complete toiletries. Lots of day activities for the guests from toddlers to old folks to keep them occupied from the daily and weekly schedules, beside the wellness /spa facilities with heated swimming pools . We love the morning nature walk led by the lady staff, a Croatian, from the fitness centre. Thanks to her who reminded us to arrange with the hotel reception to take the gondola ride up to the Asitz mountain. Without her little reminder, we would have missed the breathtaking views from the mountain. Full board meals were provided, but somewhat surprised that tap water was chargeable, while coffee and tea were included . Overall, our entire family enjoyed a memorable stay.
