Very nice renovated hotel. The lobby and bar area are very nice. Quiet area, especially if your room faces the back parking lot. Close to Kripalu. Good value for the money. Rooms are also renovated, nice and modern. Comfy beds and black out curtains. Modern and spacious bathroom. Desk area

Comfortable rooms, easy check in, and an excellent menu at the bar/lobby space. Not to be dramatic but it might be the best food in the region. I’ve stayed here maybe 10+ times usually for 1 or 2 nights and it’s very good each time. Great bed, nice big bathroom, and friendly staff. My only complaint is the heating/cooling unit in the room which is a bit loud.

Great spot! Excellent service. Special shout out to the amazing AURORA who works there!!! She treated me like a VIP and went above and beyond to be helpful. ALEX her manager was also great! They are special people and this is a great find if you need a clean reliable spot in Lenox

My wife and I stayed at Life House to celebrate her birthday weekend and also to do some hiking and explore the outdoors. The hotel is in a great location and very central to many activities in the Berkshires. It is a very nice and well-kept hotel. The reason for such a poor review is the very poor customer service we received while staying there. It began at check-in where no one was manning the front desk kiosk and despite my trying to get someone's attention, no one tended to me until I went to the bar, which was right next to the kiosk, and got the attention of the bar tender. It continued to spiral downward during dinner when my wife wasn't even attended to even though she was only the 4th person in the restaurant and she had to go to the bar to order a drink. When I arrived, a group of 6 had just arrived there and they were served before my wife who had been there 10 minutes before and when I got there, I wasn't served until I got up and made eye contact with the waiter. Our food was substandard and no one from the staff ever asked us how our food and drinks were nor did anyone apologize for the long wait time for us to be served. This was unfortunate considering the hotel otherwise, was very nice and clean.
