Estaba buscando un lugar barato para alojarme con servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto, ya que iba a llegar en un vuelo temprano por la mañana, así que hice una reserva. Quedé muy satisfecho con el amable hombre que me recogió y me ayudó con todo, desde llevar mi equipaje hasta conducir. Aunque la furgoneta era pequeña, era cómoda y tenía aire acondicionado. El desayuno también está disponible a un precio económico, lo cual es bastante bueno😊 Hay un centro comercial y Jollibee a 5 minutos a pie, por lo que la accesibilidad es buenaㅎㅎ También puedes comprar mangos en una frutería cercana y comerlos en tu habitación. ¡Recomiendo este lugar como un lugar rentable para alojarse en su primer día en Cebú!

I booked a ”studio” front desk informed me that all studios face the main road (could be very noisy?),luckily I was let to a superior room (facing the back, and they are quiet). Then, next day, I moved to premium (back building, super quiet but floor 2 rooms are way too small, better ”insist” on either ground or 3rd floor). The biggest dsappointment for me was (expecting to make heavy use of..) the swimming pool: So tiny and so shallow! when there definitely is ample space for a more serious pool (the one they have is borderline a ”joke”). Buffet breakfast is fine (even good, by filipino standards).

Rented a villa, got lit up by the electricity being wired backwards in 75%+ of the outlets. (Villa 27?)
Staff was awesome. Place is a bit dated and needs to be modernized. Pool is okay but needs work. Breakfast was cooked to order and was great. Room service was excellent and portions were large.
Seems no one visits here in the rainy season and that's a shame.

La habitación estaba bien, bastante pequeña pero cómoda. La cama era realmente cómoda. El personal fue muy servicial, necesitaba algunos medicamentos y felizmente me ayudaron a comprarlos cuando no podía salir de mi habitación. Imagino que cuando se construyó este hotel era impresionante. Sin embargo, es bastante anticuado y da la sensación de estar muy cansado. La ubicación está literalmente a un tiro de piedra del aeropuerto. No podría estar más cerca. La comida del restaurante era, como mucho, aceptable, pero el desayuno bufé era bueno. I can say that it was a small paradise.
There is a huge pool with a bar that you can spend your day. The staff were very friendly and polite.
The breakfast was huge. The room was amazing, very clean. The Cara Spa was excellent with professional staff. Also, the Nonki restaurant offers one of the best sushi i have ever tried.
Thank you for making our honeymoon so unique!

YYasuyoshiUbicación: Relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 20 minutos, pero no hay restaurantes, salones de belleza ni centros comerciales alrededor del hotel. En días lluviosos o cuando vayas a un centro comercial a comprar recuerdos, te recomendamos utilizar un coche Grab (por cierto, el coche Grab desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel cuesta unos 1.500 yenes).
Habitación: tipo cabaña, lo cual es poco común en la isla de Mactán. Incluso el tipo básico es bastante espacioso y tiene una cabina de ducha y una bañera (es una pena que la cabina de ducha no drene muy bien). Tenía una Nespresso (cafetera de cápsulas) y 4 cápsulas, y en la nevera había 2 botellas de San Miguel (cerveza filipina), 2 botellas de zumo y mangos secos. Estos eran gratis. Había chanclas disponibles como pantuflas, pero si no te gustan las chanclas, te recomendamos comprar pantuflas desechables de Hyakuyen y traerlas contigo. Había un colgador de toallas en el balcón, pero no alcanzaba para secar los bañadores mojados, así que creo que sería mejor traer un colgador de alambre, un colgador cuadrado, un pellizco y una cuerda para lavar ropa. (Hay servicio de lavandería, pero no había lavadoras ni secadoras en el hotel.) Pueden entrar pequeños insectos, por lo que es mejor tener un insecticida simple (no se permiten aerosoles en el equipaje de mano ni en el equipaje facturado). tal vez.
Instalaciones: Hay dos piscinas, una de las cuales es una piscina infinita. Aunque era un poco estrecha, había una playa privada donde se podían ver peces nadando. Puede que fuera temporada baja, pero puedo aceptar que algunos restaurantes estaban cerrados, algunos salones de belleza y gimnasios estaban cerrados y la tienda tenía una selección muy limitada.
Servicio: Me alegra que el personal siempre me salude cuando paso. No es que tengan un servicio particularmente de alta calidad, pero como eso no era lo que estaba buscando, quedé más que satisfecho con el precio.

Había un mini refrigerador personal, un hervidor eléctrico, tazas, vasos, cucharaditas, platillos, una pequeña caja fuerte, albornoces, zapatillas de hotel, artículos de tocador básicos y también paquetes de café, crema y azúcar dentro de la habitación. El desayuno era delicioso y la ubicación del hotel en sí era excelente. Tenían un servicio de transporte a la playa y alrededor de 4 o 5 lugares para comer. Me entristece que la hora de check-in fuera a las 3:00 p.m. y la hora de salida fuera a las 11 a.m. Me hubiera gustado quedarme un poco más allí.

NNail Art in CebuWe had an amazing weekend getaway in Palm Beach Resort.
Location was ok. It wasnt the best location BUT it has a 711 just across the road and the hotel has a nice store in their lobby that sells snacks, drinks, swimsuits, swimming things, etc on a very reasonable price.
We originally booked a standard room but upon checking in, they upgraded us to a deluxe room which i was so grateful for. It was a nice, big room. It has a small balcony, tv with cable, split type aircon, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 sofa, mini fridge, mini kitchen area (no utensils though just sink and electric kettle), and bathroom. The room itself was so nice however, the bathroom could have been thought better. Water pressure isnt that great especially if theres a lot of guests in the hotel. Im just a bit sad they didnt clean our room for the 3 days we stayed. Also, next door resorts might kinda be loud at night or during mornings.
The amenities were beautiful. They have 4 swimming pools: a small 2ft pool and 3 good sized pool thats 1x 4ft and 2x 5ft deep. Everywhere you go in their beach area has places to sit on. They have a small restaurant, a mini chapel, a small game room (billiards, foosball, and sungka), and my favorite: kid’s play area with slides and playhouse. Its a small resort but amenities were well thought of. They also have access to the sea. No beach though but stairs going to the sea water only.
The staff were nice. Very kind and accomodating.
Price per room is super duper worth it!! With how big the room is and amenities you and your kids can enjoy, its really great! As long as you are not that picky, then this resort is good for you.
Overall, we had a good time. My kids has a wonderful time. Will we stay here again? Why not. It sure is a nice resort.

UUsuario invitadoWhat an underwhelming experience staying at Movenpick Mactan. I had two reasons for booking at Movenpick after reviewing their website. I am a member of the loyalty program that Movenpick is associated. It wasn't until after I booked that I found out that the ACCOR Live Limitless loyalty program did not apply to this particular Movenpick hotel.
My wife and I were celebrating our birthdays as well as wedding anniversary so when I saw the Ibiza facility on the website we were excited that this would be a celebration/vacation to remember. We soon found out after arrival that the Ibiza precinct had been damaged in a typhoon 3 YEARS AGO (2021) and had not reopened. I questioned an executive about the possible misleading information on the website and was told that it takes about 1 year to remove it from the website (really????) and another year to have it uploaded again so it was left there offering an experience that wasn't there.
The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff at all outlets were friendly helpful and very courteous.
The same cannot be said of the snacks (spring rolls) near the pool that were served overcooked. The club sandwiches were delicious.
Our anniversary dinner Crispy Pata and Pochero were bland and not up to what we would expect from a five star hotel kitchen.
It was an underwhelming experience.
If you want filipino food then walk to the entrance and diagonally opposite is the Morning Glory restaurant which we visited and enjoyed a delicious array of filipino cuisine.

EEvan DragerThis is an old resort with very little maintenance done on it. Room was not clean, sheets and the comforters were dirty with stains. Sheets were grey, supposed to be white. In 6 weeks of travel this is the worst resort we have stayed in. This is the only resort I have ever been in that they don't want people. So with so few people there you could have the choice of 3 pools and have 1 or 2 without people at them. Not often you get pools to yourself.
Positive items, Staff was very friendly! The beach was beautiful sand and well kept. Again no people on it so enjoy it by yourself. The downside here was they had an old wall built that connected with the walkway but over time and lack of maintenance the water was just a shallow muddy mess that you would not want to go in. The walkway out into the ocean is old but has little benches to sit at and watch an amazing sunset!

UUsuario invitadoThe resort was hit and miss and left me with mixed emotions. Starting with having to fill out a form while still sitting in the taxi at the entrance gate and having to walk with my bags From the road to the front entrance of the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were quite nice with three pools and beautiful views. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the hot water was on demand. There was limited staff. In a three night stay I never saw any maid service servicing any rooms on my floor and had to go looking for supply replacements. The food in the restaurant was hit and miss - good salmon, good tuna sandwiches, stay away from any salad and the club sandwich - and quite pricey. P420 for a basket of french fries. If you were sitting at a poolside table the view was great but you had to get up and go looking for the wait staff every time you wanted anything. No one ever came and checked on you. Everything, including the front desk, closed up at 9:30, lights off doors locked, so you couldn’t sit by the infinity pool in the evening and enjoy a beer and the night sky over the sea. it’s in a gated community and taxis struggle to find it. If you arrive after maybe 9 PM you can find the gates to the community closed and you may be walking the streets with your bags, not particularly comfortable nor safe. The facilities were well-maintained but the resort does not seem to be focused on the individual or small group spending a weekend and appears to be more interested in large functions.
