I feel obligated to write this review, as I still get upset when I think of how we were treated at Villa Delange about a week ago. My husband and I are both in our forties and never ever had anyone spoken to us before in such an arrogant, condescending and even agressive tone, without listening to a word we said. Our stay actually started out positive: nice big room, in a beautiful building. Okay, the refridgerator in the room did not work (which meant we had to throw away some stuff that we brought for our further travel), but we could live with that. The atmosphere already changed a little bit when the owner came knocking on our door to tell us that we would need to pay extra for the breakfast of our two children. We didn't understand, as our booking literally said: "Superior Familiensuite 2 / Standardrate Viererbelegung mit Frühstück". But the lady told us that the automatic billing that was done online had only included breakfast for two people, and that we would be able to read about that rule online, on their website, as well as in our booking. The extra amount would be charged the next day, upon check-out. Since we truly couldn't find the aforementioned information on their website (and we don't like paying double), we decided to ask again the next day. On that next morning, we first went for breakfast, and that is when it all started to go wrong. Although we had mentioned in our booking ànd discussed with the owner the previous day that our youngest son has a severe egg allergy, no one could tell us anything about the ingredients of the various items at the breakfast buffet. We were told that he could eat the white bread, but that was it. Since this bread was in a basket intermixed with other bread, we decided to not take the risk and get our own bread from the car and give him that. We asked for the package of the cheese to read the ingredients ourselves, but there were no ingredients listed. So in the end he just had a glass of water from the breakfast buffet. When checking out, we went to the reception and wanted to ask two things: (1) if they could show us on the website where it was mentioned that we didn't pay for the kids' breakfast yet, (2) if we really had to pay for the breakfast of our yongest son (in case we hadn't already done so), since he hadn't eaten anything. If someone would have showed us where the information was, it would actually all have been fine. We would even have understood if we still needed to pay for our youngest son's breakfast. We are reasonable people; we just wanted to enter the conversation. But what happened instead was totally crazy. Since the person who was manning the reception desk did not speak English, she called a colleague and we were asked to talk to her on the phone. When it came to the first point, we were simply ordered to pay. She said it was somewhere on the website and we just needed to take her word for it. We arrived, a group of 7, and the first bad surprise was not finding any fridge in the rooms to cool our newly purchased wines. We decided to had dinner at the hotel, as it has a nice outdoor area. Although spending money enough on the food and some on the drinks, even the overpriced wines (around 20€ a bottle), the owner was unfortunately very rude, unbalanced and angey, saying that we are not allowed to bring our own wines to the outside area, we could go "to the street" or "booked a room with a terrace". So, we understood that the outside area could only be used for the ones who buy their drinks!! She said, that the outside area is for the restaurant (which is not really a restaurant) and not for the guests of the hotel It was a really unpleasant experience after so many nice sleepovers throughout the Pfalz area, where we bought a lot of wines and also enjoyed some in our evenings together. Definitely not going back and not recommending to anyone.

Villa Delange möchte eine Art gehobenes Boutique-Hotel sein und wird diesem Anspruch durch Gestaltung und Frühstück auch zum Teil gerecht. Negativ sind allerdings die unzureichende Parksituation und den Umgang des Personals damit (Absperrung der wenigen Parkplätze für eine schweizerische Sportwagengruppe). Ausserdem sehr schwaches WLan. Pure Geldschneiderei sind Einzelheiten wie Poolbenutzung für 5 Euro und deutlich überteuerte Einsteigerweine zur Selbstbedienung. Eine absolute Zumutung ist allerdings das Verhalten der Besitzerin, die unsere Gruppe auf aggressive Art bepöbelte, da wir im Garten des Hotels mitgebrachten Wein konsumierten, den wir zuvor im Weinkühlschrank des Hotels gekühlt hatten. Wohlgemerkt nachdem wir zuvor hoteleigene Speisen und Getränke für gut 100 Euro konsumiert hatten. In den Zimmern sind keine Kühlschränke mehr, aus Gründen der Nachhaltigkeit, wie ich belehrt wurde. Sie habe das Hausrecht, wenn es uns nicht passt können wir ja gehen (nachdem wir bereits voll bezahlt hatten), wir würden ihre Weingläser stehlen etc. Ich bin nie zuvor in einem Hotel so schlecht behandelt worden, m.E. kann diese Frau definitiv nicht auf Gäste losgelassen werden, sie hat in der Hotellerie nichts verloren. Es ist sehr schade, dass dies bei den vielen tollen Weingüter in Nussdorf so gut wie die einzige Unterkunftsmöglichkeit ist. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, aber mit dieser Besitzerin kann die Villa Delange definitiv nicht weiterempfohlen werden.

Kleinschalig maar goed hotel vlakbij Burrweiler. Uitstekende kamer. We sliepen in het hoofdgebouw vlakbij de ontbijtruimte. Inderdaad weinig voorzieningen om het geluid van de straat buiten te houden dus je hoort de auto’s goed. Beetje antieke inrichting. Jammer hoge drempel naar badkamer en haken die los zaten. Goed ontbijt.

Ich war berufliche einige Wochen in diesem Hotel. Jedes Zimmer ist sehr individuell gestaltet. Wirklich schön. Die häufig angesprochene Hellhörigkeit ist mir nicht negativ aufgefallen. Ich bin von einem anderen örtlichen Hotel gewechselt und habe es nicht bereut !!!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Vorort von Landau, direkt an der Durchgangsstraße. Deshalb ist es bei offenem Fenster zur Straßenseite auch etwas lauter. Villa Delange und Gästehaus zum Schwan gehören zusammen und sind nur 150 Meter voneinander entfernt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sehr groß und hell. Getränke kann man an einem Kühlschrank entnehmen und aufs Zimmer schreiben lassen. Eine gute Lösung und Ersatz für eine Minibar im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war gut und vielseitig. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Frühstück wird in Büfettform angeboten. Das ist allerdings ein Problem in den Stoßzeiten. Hier kommt es sehr schnell zu Platzproblemen, da das Büfett in einem schmalen Durchgang aufgebaut ist. Besonders am Kaffeeautomat und am Waffeleisen wird es dann problematisch und bildet sich ein Stau, der den Durchgang blockiert.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und sehr einfach ausgestattet. Die Besitzer sind sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück schmeckt gut, es war aber ständig nichts da. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann nachgelegt. Es gibt eine Weinlounge zur Selbstbedienung. Um 23:30 Uhr wurden wir unfreundlich aufgefordert zu gehen. Die Öffnungszeiten stehen nörgelnd. Im Gegenteil Teil steht, dass man ab 23:00 von draußen in die Weinlounge gehen soll. Unser Zimmer war kalt und es wurde nicht warm. Unser Fazit: wir haben uns sehr geärgert. Und kommen nicht mehr. Billig ist es ja auch nicht gewesen.

Wir waren in einem anderen Haus ca 200 m von der Villa Delange untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind schön, aber das ganze Haus ist extrem hellhörig. Man hört den Nachbarn husten/schnarchen. Aus der ‚ Der Weinlounge‘ der Villa Delange wurden wir abends nicht sehr freundlich von der Chefin raus -gebeten … wenn diese nur bis zu einer bestimmten Zeit geöffnet ist, sollte das auch irgendwo stehen. Das Frühstück am nächsten morgen war zwar gut. Aber wenn‘s bis halb 11 Uhr Frühstück gibt, sollte man um halb 10 nicht vor leeren Platten stehen, die auf Nachfrage auch nur widerwillig aufgefüllt werden. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen. Da das Prei/Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht stimmt.
