Sky Beach Hotel

Family run friendly hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean, food delicious and the kids loved the pool! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Eleni and Nikos. We have had a fantastic 2 weeks and are so grateful for all your care and kindness ❤️ We will see you again in 2025. Jack will look forward to more vanilla ice cream 🍨

A perfect location for a perfect family run hotel. Just back from 8 beautiful days staying in this fantastic location. The Hotel itself is clean and the Family that run it are so welcoming and friendly, they run a basic bar and food is available on request, continental breakfast with lovely fresh orange juice daily set the day up well. The studios we had were great and cleaned regularly to a high standard. There is a small pool which is great and the beach/taverns are only 100m away. The main town is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. We are so pleased we found this place and will be back again.

A modern hotel with a vertical layout which maximizes ocean views. Our room was large and clean, the staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast (outdoors on the patio) featured fresh vegetables with olive oil and herbs in addition to breads, cake slices, cheese and cold cuts. We did not use the pool, but others did and it looked clean and well-maintained. If we return to Agia Galini we will be happy to stay at the Sky Beach Hotel again.

I loved staying in this hotel, will definitely return. I was given one of the new studios (the hotel has an older part and a new one) which was very nice. Well-equipped, comfortable beds and many plugs (something many owners forget). The hotel has a pool which is usually very calm as most guests are on the beach 100m away. The location is excellent-on the beach and with tavernas & a small super market right off the door but you can walk to the main village of Agia Galini only a 10min walk away. Great views, very calm and clean.

This was our second visit to Aghia Galini but first stay at Sky Beach. Very warm welcome from Eleni, despite being around midnight and very friendly service from Eleni and Nikos throughout our stay. Was lovely to see their family living and working together. Our 2 bedroomed appartment was spacious and very clean. The free air con was in the main bedroom but did feed through to the lounge area also. The balcony was very spacious plus amazing sea views. The pool was very clean and a good size for a small hotel. The cafe bar serves breakfast and snacks throughout the day at reasonable prices. You need to be able to climb the initial steps but then there is a lift to all the higher floors, including the very top where you can be dropped off/picked up by transfers or park your hire car. You could also park by the lower entrance too (quite busy throughout the day due to being very close to the beach). The location is perfect, right by a mini market and the beach with a selection of restaurants and a few shops then about 5 mins walk to the pretty village centre with a much larger choice of restaurants and shops. We sampled lots of restaurants and mini markets - all good. We took a local bus to Tymbaki market one day and used Galini Express (local company in Aghia Galini) for airport transfer from Heraklio and onward to Georgiopolis and also a river trek tour which was fantastic. Highly recommend Giorgos from Galini Express (also cousin of Nikos I believe). Unfortunately I left several bank cards by mistake when we left Sky Beach (and I had not realised until over a week later)...Eleni kindly contacted me about this. Fantastic stay with my wife and 3 teenage children. Definitely recommend and would love to return one day.

Good well managed and clean hotel with parking (important for that area). Less than 2 mins from beach it sits slightly back which makes it highly convenient whilst still being relatively quieter. Breakfast basic but good. Good sun terrace area which is well sheltered for those windy days at the end of the season. Management really helpful and friendly. Happy to recommend.
