Taufua Beach Fales

Have stayed with Taufua 6 times…never again. My friend paid double per night and the management not interested in discussing. Their website for booking is a trap.

We stayed in the airconditioned villas with our tour group for two nights. We had been informed that there is no hot water but still: why provide nice villas and no hot water? Our tour operator provided bath towels as they do not provide that either! Who has heard of a thing like that. Even cabins on a campground provide towels. Our toilet leaked water and that was quite disgusting. Sometimes one could only get a drizzle from the cold shower. The balcony was nice because it stayed in the shade for some time in the morning. It was fun sitting at a long table. The dinner food was quite good but I did not like breakfast. One of the most horrible toast breads I have ever had. The cocktail choice was limited. They did not have half of what was on the menu. The sea did not look inviting. We went to a lovely beach with good snorkeling with the tour. The best was the dancing show. That was a very enjoyable evening.

When you first arrive at Taufua Beach Fales you are greeted by friendly staff, amazing views of the beach and absolute bliss!! We had a group of 11 for one night. A fale stay is an absolute must when visiting Samoa. We opted for closed fales this time but the open fales are just as comfortable. Local food was amazing and there’s plenty to go around!! Plenty of opportunity for swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing on the shore. We will definitely be back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Taufua beach fale. It must be one of the most beautiful locations in Samoa. The beach and sea are heavenly. It has a great vibe and we enjoyed getting to know the staff. Breakfast and dinner are served at long shared tables and it was an unexpected highlight meeting and talking to other guests at mealtimes. We had emailed before booking to see whether they could cater to vegan diets and they happily did. The food was simple and delicious. I would 100% return to this little piece of paradise.

This was our first time staying at Taufua and it was exceptional! To anyone visiting Samoa, you must stay here! We sadly only had 2 nights but will definitely come back and stay for longer. If you are there on a Wednesday or Saturday, there is dancing which was a ton of fun. Additionally, all of the meals are served family style which was a great way to meet lots of other travelers not to mention the food was filling and delicious! Highly recommend this place for the unique experience and their hospitality!
