We have really enjoyed our weekend stay at 3 Cambridge Villas. Andy is a friendly host and we thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast. The room was very clean and well equipped, the location is excellent to explore Ambleside and the surrounding area. We would love to come and stay again.

Very good Bed & Breakfast right in the heart of Ambleside, everything you need is close by, bars / shops / restaurants. Rooms are very clean and tidy, Andy the owner is very friendly and does a lovely full English's breakfast with plenty to choose from. Guest book has some recommendations for restaurants and other activities. Will definitely be booking again soon.

We enjoyed the very well cooked breakfast with plenty of toast & tea & coffee refills. Lots of other choices too including overnight oats & fresh fruit. Andy the owner, is a really pleasant, friendly guy & he has lots of ideas of where to walk & eat. We liked our room, it was comfortable, attractive & very clean. A lovely stay all round.

Accommodation clean and quiet Breakfast nicely presented Andy the host was very helpful and provided great information about the local area ! Will stay again in the future Location of the guest house was easy to find and close to local amenities!

The room was very comfortable and clean, the room had everything we need. The Breakfast is Excellent, the people very friendly. When we ask some thing, them always did. The guest house in the middle of Town, close to shop restaurant pubs and Bus station, good place to stay.

We had a lovely stay, Ann and Andy were fabulous hosts, the room is very clean and in a great location. The breakfast set us up for a day of hiking. We would definitely recommend this guest house as it’s great value for money in the centre of Ambleside.

A fantastic stay, lovely location, I will go there again when we make it back up to the lakes. The food was plentiful & very well cooked, also a nice choose. The rooms were clean, with a good shower, plentiful tea & coffee if wanted. I'm lucky to have picked Cambridge Villas.

Great location, quiet at night despite being very central, friendly staff. Felt short changed by the breakfast, billed as full English on the website and even listed on a notice in the bedroom as a 'generous full English' breakfast it was more of a 'half-English', consisting only of scrambled egg, sausage, beans and hash brown. It was served from 8.30am, late for any early risers wanting to get up and out on the fells after a hearty breakfast start to the day. The food was good, could have just had more variety to it to match the 'full English' billing.
