Power cut, extra charges for everything. service is very very bad. Food is limited and very avg in taste.

Rooms, balcony, and view were amazing. Except the staff of the hotel were not friendly enough and they showed least bothered about their guest.
When I arrived, they did not come to pick up baggages until I told them. In breakfast, I told them to make 2 cup of tea for me, but they refused. When I told the staff to refill water, they didn't show up. I had to go till the kitchen to refill water.
Thupka, the authentic cuisine of sikkim, was made disinterestedly, and it did not taste good. They did not tell the quantity of the food for two member. So when we ordered we got two big bowls of thupka which we had thrown away. After that, I got food poisoning.
When we had to check out, which I had told them the time one day prior, nobody showed for check out. I had to take all the bags to the car. I had to shout at the staff while checking out as we were getting late to leave for gangtok.
Hence, I recommend others not to select this hotel.

We had a great stay here for 1 night. The location was awesome, view from balcony was mesmerizing, foods were tasty, room was well equipped, toilet was neat & clean & there was geyser also. Room service was very good. We enjoyed the stay here. I'll give 5 star rating & highly recommend this Cottage.

This hotel was a terrible choice, first of all we reached there and for 45 minutes there was no one available I had to call the number of the property 3-4 times, then after waiting for 45 minutes one kid around 15 years came to help us check in, I had booked one of the premium room there but my room tv had no remote to operate it, when I asked an the remote they said there is no remote, and we were supposed to get breakfast at 7 o'clock as we had to leave for sightseeing at 7:30, which is obvious schedule in all the hotels in lachung, but even at 7:30 when I asked for the breakfast for which I had already paid while making the reservation, they said it will be around 8:30 or 9 since their cook was not available, I had to leave without having the breakfast, over all worst stay ...there was no adult at the property throughout, couple of teenagers managing it

We visited this cottage in the mnth of Jan 2025..the only good thing abt this cottage was yu get immense amount of hot water for shower ...Apart from this the attitude of the staffs & the owner is Mamaa Miaa!! God knows u they hv this attitude...one more thing I wud like to say Never.. Never.. Ever ..try their Milk Tea.....it's horrible!! & Yes ofcourse they will charge yu high altitude price for woods if yu are doing bonfire.... For me I will rate this cottage 2/5.
