Very nice place, very nice team & owners - perfect place to celebrate a birthday and stay overnight. We bookd 6 double rooms and were offered an massive upgrade for one of the rooms for free (for our birthdy child...). Very proactive communication during the planning phase. Place can be highly recommended.

Great location with many hike options in the surroundings. Marcelo did an amazing job showing us the different activities and highlights of the region. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The hotel in general and the room were spotless. The architecture and decoration are tasteful and the gardens well taken care of. The stuff is helpful and friendly and the owners totally kind and made feel like home. For sure not our last visit to the hotel. Can highly recommend it.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel (me, my wife and almost 4 year old daughter). We have stayed in many nice accommodations, but I have to say that this hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. My wife and I have no shame in saying that this was the best stay we have ever had. Perfect, nice and always helpful staff. A beautiful, amazingly equipped room (great mattresses, comfortable duvets, and fine details such as high-quality, fragrant Swiss soap...). The owner was very helpful with tips for a trip, breakfast even in an almost family friendly spirit, we felt like we were visiting good friends. And the dinner at the local restaurant was absolutely amazing (Michelin starred restaurants could envy the quality). Even the town itself has its rural charm and there is a lot to see in the surrounding area within an accessible distance (lakes, chocolate factory, cheese factory, beautiful nature,...). Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

The welcome was amazing. The owners are very welcoming and helpful with explaining everything there's to explore in the area. Highly recommended! We stayed here for 1 night, but would advice to stay at least 3 nights to get the full experience.

Very friendly staff, very clean and nice accomodation, excellent food. Large varietties of vines available. Will certailnly come again. Parking is available at no charge. Good starting point for excursions e.g. hiking, close to the lake.

On my way to the Suisse Jura I stayed for two days in Prêles at the "Hotel de l'Ours". It all begun with this warm and friendly "WELCOME" by the owner. During the two days I felled more and more "at home" The Hotel has been rebuild in an modern but reserved style. From the Restaurant trough the commun parts into the rooms the new part of the hotel is architecturally interesting and very harmonious. The outside Terace ist calm and the very good dinner served was just perfect.The kindness of the team from the Hotel makes it an unforgettable evening. So thank you to the Owners for there kindness and organization talent for some of my special requirements. Instaed of any Hotel on the lake Biel It's far better to choose Prêles and stay in the "Hotel de l'Ours" which for me was a 5* stay. Thank you very much for this and I hope to see you soon .

Great experience overall. Super friendly owners / managers. Welcome drinks + detailed guide about surrounding walks / sights / restaurants. Great breakfast. Building looks nice. Room was clean, great amenities. Location is very quiet, small rural village.

This place is amazing thanks to the lovely couple that runs it. It's the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have been in quite a few. So clean and tidy. The service is excellent, you are looked after so well and given all the information about the surrounding area. The area is so pretty and relaxing, it takes your breath away. Thank you so much. Would love to return one day. A warm welcome makes all the difference.
