Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto

In-room bathtub was amazing, all the service was attentive and highly recommended banyantree kyot

We had a wonderful stay and they even went beyond our expectation upon knowing we were there for our anniversary. Would go back in a heartbeat if we could! And one front desk guy (forgot his name, but we believe he was of foreign nationality) was so kind and attentive to our small family needs, we are so grateful.

Location very strategic, nice ambient. The cons is the hotel is a bit too small.

Everything was superb with the one exception, for an onsen hotel that have one of the selling point, in room onsen bath, the water was just regular hot water, why would I need to stay at an onsen hotel with in room onsen bath if any bathtub with hot water would do? Trip.com site did not specify that it wasn’t hot spring water. But luckily there was a better room with actual hot spring water supplied to the room available for upgrade, so I spent the extra to make my stay absolutely perfectly memorable.

Everything about staying at The Banyan Tree was wonderful.  The property was gorgeous , comfortable, and extremely clean and new feeling.  Everyone who worked there could not do enough to help us have a relaxing stay. They truly made us feel welcome.  I hope I have the chance to stay there again in the future.  Thanks to all of the staff for your thoughtful hospitality!

New, clean , very good location.

Very nice ambience and a new luxurious hotel in Kyoto close to the 清水寺。 Restaurant choices are quite limited inside the hotel complex but they have got a great spa with excellent service staff. Down the hill should be some international restaurants at Park Hyatt Kyoto another luxurious five star hotel. Breakfast bento boxes not too appetising and not much food selections for in room dining as well. But the neighbourhood was quiet and nice.

I enjoyed hotel. All the staffs are helpful and kind. The food is so delicious. We had a great time there.
