Palm Hotel

Just 1 pillow per person all so the room was described as sea view and that was not the case your view was the hotel across the road the sea was hard right and it had 4 stars i have in 2 stars whichwas a lot better the hotel was clean and the staff were pleasent

Second time staying in Palm hotel. Location is excellent. Staff v friendly & helpful. Got a beautiful room with a fab view on the first day after stating the original room was tiny. Lovely relaxing terrace for reading. Lovely clean pool area. They did their best to satisfy the Irish at breakfast. Even got Barry’s tea.

I stayed here a week with 2 friends . I was in direct contact with the marketing manager after we booked who was lovely. She arranged a pickup and met us at the airport with our private transfer. €90 (€30 split between the 3 of us). The bus from the airport we had was lovely ,we arrived and had a pleasant check-in . It's an old hotel , I'm told it was one fo the first to be built on the ***** in Kusadasai. 1992-1994. We were given a sea-view on the fifth floor. The balcany provides a great view of the beach . The room is basic but very clean. The best thing the Palm has going forit is it's in a great location you are right in the middle of the *****. 2 mins walk to the it and the beach. The only annoying thing was the shower which had no pressure, I had to ask for it to be repaired. Also the safe in the room costs money to rent per day, usually it's included. The most irritating thing about the room was the key card system. It uses a an old key with a card attached that slots into a hole in the wall. The key and card were really old and I felt that they were really cheap , the manager asked for it back at reception when I went out and he told me if it was lost it would cost €100 to be replaced. This was really irritating as I was afraid to lose it or leave it in the room by accident . A bit of stress I didn't need. Every night we went out for dinner and on the beer . There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the ***** and there is a lively nightlife there and in the 'Old town' approx 15 mins walk. In Turkey you must learn to barter. I had lived in the middle east a while ago, however I have forgotten how to haggle....There is the tourist price and the real price, they will fight you for everything. Don't get fleeced, walk away. Everything was a bit expensive where we were, like Dublin prices, I recommend the ladies beach we didn't go but we were told it was a lot cheaper around there. (10 mins by cab). We did the Sunway excursions. They were a very good company and they were the highlights of the trip. I recommend Ephesus (€115) , the boat tour(€40) and Sirince village (€45) ...well worth the money. Lana was nice to talk to. Bring € with you. Cards are accepted but they prefer cash . Unfortunately I got stuck on the lift on the 3rd day , it's an old cramped box of a lift . Luckily I got out after 10 mins. I asked to move to the 1st floor so I wouldn't have to use the lift anymore. Overall a nice holiday , I don't know If I'll be back to this hotel. However I have some very nice memories from there. Why am I giving it 4 stars ? The girls at the desk.... Busra and the other ( I'm sorry I forgot your name, but I remember your smile). I really want to thank Namiye. You are a sweetheart and were very kind to us.

We checked in after 3am and the first thing you see are all the warning signs about food and drink being brought in from outside the hotel, then the cost of towels if you take them from your room to the pool they consider this a purchase, €25 for a bath towel. The room was ok apart from the horrid brown carpet which wasn’t hoovered during our stay. The shower was fine but there were problems with the toilet that were never fixed. The pillows definitely need replacing they were awful. On the plus side the air conditioning works great 😀 Don’t rush for breakfast you will be very disappointed, fried eggs, plain omelette ( eggs mixed up and fried) and extremely thin pancakes. The pool is great and absolutely spotless, the lunch menu is really good as are the drinks. The staff are lovely but the rooms need updating and sort out the breakfast choices.

The hotel is incredibly well situated, and is close to active nightlife, restaurants, a small beach, tourist attractions and only a few min walk from the center of town. The room is very clean, spacious with very good aircon. They have a wonderful pool area and bar with great deals on drinks and food. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing holiday.

Great location, it is right by the marina and the pool is lovely. It is a very clean hotel overall which is very good. Lift a bit outdated but it did the job. The signs at the front saying “no food or drink from outside the hotel is allowed inside” was a little odd… I don’t think that the first thing a customer sees when they walk into a hotel is a list of things they aren’t allowed do. We didn’t have dinner there but breakfast was barebones. If you don’t like omelettes you’re gonna want to go somewhere else for food… The young girl serving at breakfast was lovely though, and the staff were very kind.

Location Location Location. Just on the marina, 10 minute walk to the centre of town, where you will find lots of Shops Bars and Restaurants. The Hotel is more for couples not suitable for children ,Rooms are small and clean, staff are friendly. no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. It was a great base for us, it was our second time to stay at this hotel , we will be back someday in the future.

Beautiful hotel situated just 10 minutes walk with sea views all the way to centre of Kusadasi. The hotel is very clean,rooms are cleaned daily with new towels and toiletries added every day. The pool and pool area are cleaned every day, spotless. The staff are very friendly and so helpful and knowledgeable about local buses which stop outside the hotel door. I would highly recommend staying in the Palm hotel. Margaret M.

very nice hotel the shower door needs a new seal the balcony door needs to be oiled the cleaners were very nice and the girls in reception were extremely very help full especially miss happy the nicest girl i have ever dealt with the gentle man getting the breakfast was really help full and very nice
