In a village near to Changshui Airport. Needed to contact driver for pick up, we only got driver's contact after arrival. Taken more than an hour+ to meet up with driver. Arrived hotel 3am in dark surroundings.
Overall the hotel was OK but don't expect hotel service.

This is an extraordinary guesthouse, which we utterly fell in love with. It is well off the beaten track to the north of Kunming next to the picturesque quaint little town of Minsu.
The owner's hospitality was second to none, driving us around locally for free, serving us up an amazing bbq and giving us advice and smiles whenever we crossed his path. He also arranged a driver to take us to the more popular attractions at a very reasonable price.
My two sons were safe and happy exploring around the guesthouse and made to feel welcome and happy despite their constant football kicking 😂
Minsu has everything you need with super friendly locals, mainly we are told from the Dong ethnic group. There are plenty restaurants serving up fantastic tradition Yunnan cuisine in massive portions.
If you want to relax off the beaten track and experience a beautifully genuine homestay experience, we highly recommend Yunyan.

酒店離機場比較近，但是最近昆明機場在擴建，一路走來很荒涼，但是不影響酒店環境的美，（照片沒有任何P圖，蘋果原相機拍攝）一路走來還擔心附近沒有飯店，原來酒店後面有一家知青飯店環境也很好的，所以不用擔心吃飯問題，酒店老闆娘很好，晚上提前跟她説早上想在酒店吃早餐，老闆娘早早的就在廚房了。提前15分鐘説需要吃早餐，麪條快速的就能吃到，簡單而温馨。

픽드랍 서비스가 너무 좋았어요. 한국에서 이심만 해가서 중국 번호가 없었는데 위챗으로 연락잘되고 (파파고로 번역해서 소통) 새벽시간 도착에 짐도 늦게 나왔는데 사장님이 나와서 기다려 주었고 다음날 드랍까지 잘 해주었어요. 따뜻한물도 잘 나오고 조용해서 꿀잠잤어요! 공항에서 숙소 오가는길 도로공사중인지 아무것도 없고 흙먼지만 날리는 풍경이지만 숙소는 너무 조용해 꿀잠잤네요.

네팔 트레킹 후
힐링장소로 공항 근처 친환경 숙소를 찾고 있었습니다.
사진과 후기를 보자마자 예약하였는데
완전 대성공!
밤늦게 공항에 도착했는데 기사님이 나와주셨고
공항에서 10분 정도 거리의 숙소에 안전하게 도착!
사장님이 반갑게 맞아주셨고
비가 와서 추우니 뜨거운 물도 날진물통에 받아주셨습니다.
숙소는 춥지 않았어요.
티비도 잘 나와서 잔잔한 노래 틀어두니 좋았고 무엇보다 호텔 전경이 너무 이뻤네요. 비와서 더 운치있었고 .. 조식도 사장님이 직접 만들어주시는 거라 더 정성스럽고 맛있었습니다.
숙소를 바라보고 왼쪽 사이길로 조금만 올라가면 상점이나 식당들이 있어 사먹기에도 좋았고 사람들이 친절하고 물가도 저렴했네요.
한국에서도 아직 나오지 않은 털복숭아를 쿤밍에서 먼저 먹었네요.
너무 맛있어서 행복!! ㅎㅎㅎ
여러모로 좋은 여행후의 마무리로 좋은 숙소에 하루 머물다가 돌아오니
덕분에 해피엔딩입니다.
사장님 내외분 건강히 잘 지내시고 다음에 또 만나요🥰
