Paradise-The Whitehouse Cafe

we visited the cafe/restaurant last week, drawn in by its beautiful location. However, the experience quickly turned unpleasant due to poor management and unprofessional service. As we entered, we were greeted by the strong smell of cow dung from the lawn area, which made sitting outside quite uncomfortable. When we requested indoor seating, we were bluntly denied, with the reason being that children are not allowed inside—a strange and unwelcoming policy, especially for a family-friendly setup. Since it was already 9:30 PM and we had limited options, we reluctantly decided to stay and dine outdoors. The surprises began early a standard Aquafina water bottle was priced at Rs.120, which we were told was to “maintain their standard.” Ironically, if they truly aimed for premium standards, they should have at least offered a better and premium quality water brand. We ordered pizza and pasta, which were thankfully decent and served hot. But the Chicken Malai Tikka: Completely undercooked, almost raw. We raised a complaint, and the waiter said he would replace it. In the meantime, we ordered the main course, which took 40 minutes to arrive and was a total letdown, Mutton- Undercooked and chewy, Chicken: Hardly any meat in the dish—mostly gravy and bones, Dal- Completely unseasoned, Rotis- Thick, doughy, and undercooked. When we asked to speak with the manager - Mr. Suresh, he showed no interest in listening and instead called in their so-called chef, who tried to justify the mutton by saying, “Pahari mutton thoda hard hota hai." We then asked him to strip the flesh from the bone to prove his point—and unsurprisingly, he couldn’t. He had no answer for the raw rotis or the poorly cooked chicken either. The Malai tikka which was to be replaced was never replaced. It was only after an argument that they agreed not to charge us for certain dishes, but by then, the evening was already ruined. This place may look appealing from the outside, but the arrogant attitude of the manager, the substandard food, and the lack of basic hospitality made it a thoroughly disappointing experience. Highly avoidable, especially if you value your time, money, and mood.

The staff was very good and polite . The service was amazing . The food tasted amazing . Will visit again. And the view from the room was so amazing

Terrible room service,high attitude hotel,bad hospitality. Being an experienced traveller we stayed every start hotel but this hotel gave us terrible hospitality like:- 1- They give only only rate because there menu rate is way too expensive. 2- They are thief also i asked them to find a tshirt which was missed in room no.105 which we took only for day 1 and on day 2 we shifted our room according to them the tshirt was not in the room(which was 100% took by the staff).They dont even apologies for it. 3- Not at all welcoming from checkinn to checkout. 4- We called almost 8-9 times for towels but everytime we get only one answer ok sending and trust me we received the towel on the next day. There are more things which i can write but i think its enough .

Waste of time, absolutely hated the stay, the most stressful stay, if you’re wanting a stress free trip do not choose this. Unwelcoming staff , nasty service and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH A DIME , just the view is what makes sense for me to tolerate the place. Would never recommend anyone.

This hotel is only good with location rest nothing is good-pathetic service,very money minded people. Forget ur order if u order anything from thr menu. They only give EP plan means room only without food only room rate because thr food menu rate is more expensive thn Taj or any 5star hotel. Its frustrating. PS - The stuff are also not welcoming,rude!! (without any single simle)Since checkinn to checkout.
