Solang Valley Resorts enjoys a prime location in the scenic Solang Valley, offering picturesque views and a tranquil setting that nature lovers will appreciate. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was notably spacious, featuring a private balcony, a separate sit-out area, and two large bathrooms. The suite undoubtedly offers the best view in the property; however, the room interiors felt dated and in need of refurbishment. Amenities were quite limited for a room of this category. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a wide spread and excellent taste. However, the snacks ordered during the evening did not meet expectations in terms of quality or presentation. The resort itself is large, well-maintained, and offers a pleasant ambience. A notable highlight is the variety of evening activities organized for guests, including bonfires, DJ nights, live folk dance, and singing performances, adding a cultural touch to the stay. While the staff was generally courteous, the service experience had inconsistencies. For example, our package (booked via ClearTrip) included a 10% discount on F&B and complimentary Hi-Tea, which the hotel initially did not acknowledge. These were only provided after repeated insistence, which was disappointing and not in line with expected hospitality standards. On a positive note, it is a pet-friendly property, which is a plus for travelers with furry companions. Overall, it was an average experience that did not justify the premium pricing. With room upgrades and improved service consistency, the resort has the potential to deliver better value for money. A thoughtful gesture of boxful of tasty delicious plums as parting gift was given to us on departure. Appreciate it.
